Waahhhh I’m not going to dedicate much time or brain power to this Higurashi-ish clone with mediocre art and meaningless shounen bullshit. It’s readable, but only just. If you REALLY need something to read and you have this, well, you could I guess. Doesn’t bring anything new to any table, and apparently this is only the first scenario? I’m passin on the rest. I really should’ve just skipped through all this - I’m making a resolution now to do that if a VN is kind of bad because I really don’t have the time to sit in wackness like this….
… because I spent the past three days moving into my new house. I have a house now. I own a home. It is lovely with tons of natural sunlight and is quiet and clean. My knees are a mass of bruises from moving and I am exhausted. It’s pretty fuckin rad, though the pets are all still acclimating.
Next up: A short ebi-hime freebie that I might knock out later today:
See you soon!

gOOD
I’M GONNA ACTUALLY FOLLOW IN YOUR FOOTSTEPS THIS TIME.
WOW! I actually don’t think I’ve ever been this early for a post of yours!
Yeah, I don’t know why anyone would localize like that… and your guess would be as good as mine.
Ohhh nooo… :(
It could be another Higurashi deal, where it’s purposefully released in parts. I can’t bring myself to care enough, though.
Why ‘oh no’? I’m pretty done with sitting through mediocre experiences out of obligation. If I wanted to do that, I’d be straight and go to church (/RIMSHOT)
Nah man, if that were the case, something new would show up sooner or later since, oh, you know… IT’S BEEN THREE YEARS. So yeah, no. I guess no one cares at this point.
Don’t mind me, I’m just dead-set on consuming shit, I suppose (lol).
No, but more seriously, it irks me when people say “Oh look, I completed X”, but when you ask them about particular routes, they go “Yeah, I pretty much skipped X character or Y scenario because Z”. Just… own up to it, man, don’t go around claiming you know the whole story. It’s fine to not like a thing and skip it, but… note it somewhere so no one feels like an idiot trying to discuss the VN only to realize there’s nothing to talk about.
OH NO YOU DIDN’T! :OOO
Mmm, that’s not an unfair stance. I absolutely would note when I were to skip through something - although, as you can see, numbly forcing myself to read through something I don’t care about still fosters about the same amount of discussion generation. I’ve been reading this VN for two weeks and I’ll be fucked getting into more depth than ‘guy gets sent back in time, is useless in a village until his Special Powers kick in and he isn’t useless anymore, a bunch of people die’.
Thank you :) I feel it needed to be said somewhere… somewhere that isn’t the highly cancerous VNDB forums. And it’s really cool to know you would keep track of it, too. Life is short, yes, but everyone needs to find their own balance, and if one forces themselves to consume a medium just to be able to say they did it means they’re either masochistic (seriously or not) or they just don’t value their own time, whether of self-hatred or the odd need to try and prove something (and, obviously, failing). Or maybe I’m only half right and the other half is that a lot of people just become self-proclaimed elitists and can’t seem to grow out of the mindset? Humans are complicated.
And about your knowledge on that VN… reminds me of that time Woody Allen took a speedreading course.
