Update One Hundred and Sixty-Nine: 7 April 2018
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
The good thing about playing through so many free games is that they’re usually pretty short experiences. That means an increase in posts from yours truly. I should be pretty quiet after today, though - for the rest of the week my girlfriend and I are going to Disney World! We’ve been saving up for the past four months and she is SUPER friggin excited. So, not a lot of time for gaming!
Scrap Garden - the Day Before is a LOT shorter than I thought it would be. It’s a prequel-y little minisode set before the events in the original Scrap Garden. Both games are kind of clunky and not very slick… but my god they are SO EARNEST that I can’t help but be endeared to them. This game is perfect for kids just getting into gaming because it’s simple and cute and you run around as a little robot and smash up some stuff.
I think the texturework was better in this game, but beyond that it’s really just a small extension of Scrap Garden. You could run through it in 20 minutes, maybe. It was A-O-Fine!
Next up: I got this as a gift from someone…. may have been Brian again. Thank you, Brian!
See you soon!

Oh, Jade Empire! Looking forward to your review. At its time BioWare games were the pinnacle of RPGs and I think this is the only one I haven’t played (and probably never will on account of having not enough time).
Hey, congrats on the “don’t take any damage” achievement! =)
Like I said, I left that one unachieved. =(
Maybe one day one of your kids will achieve it for you! That’s going to be a magical moment, I think.
‘Children…. you have surpassed your father…. I pass the mantle onto you………’ and then you dissolve into stars or something
