Update Two Hundred and Four: 4 August 2018

Yep here it is right on schedule my third update in one day.

This is one of those games where it’s done absolutely nothing for me - I’m completely neutral to it. (well, neutral to a bit negative) It’s very brief, so it doesn’t overstay it’s welcome, but it also doesn’t really do anything, either. I get kind of what it’s trying to do, but it’s very surface - there’s no buildup or deeper, more nuanced relationship building beyond… ‘it’s difficult to be in a relationship with someone with a disability’? That’s not even fleshed out, either, since the ‘difficulties’ in question are… the MC gets a little annoyed that his girlfriend has to help him navigate because he can’t see, and the girlfriend has a panic attack from PTSD.

I mean… I guess…?

There’s not even any interpersonal relationship problems, either - like, things just happen! Either you say the right romantic stuff or you don’t, and then the relationship falls apart or it doesn’t. It was a game, and then it was over.

Next up: Oh jesus here we go. There’s no middle ground, apparently - either super short VNs or STUPID LONG ones. Oh, well. Time to Muv some Luv
