Update Three Hundred and Twelve: 2 June 2019
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Short game gets short review:
Some interesting emotional beats in this here story of a man who is eternally young feeling feelings about being eternally young, but, unfortunately, it never really gets up off the ground or has much of a real impact. I thought the second act was building to something, but it ends up just being largely navel-gazing from the Wayfarer, the moody protagonist, with some Scottish/Irish folk songs thrown in.
You know, it called to mind the visual novel segments of Lost Odyssey, a game I adore and would LOVE!!! to have ported to PC. Unfortunately, Fare Thee Well fares less than well (I hate myself for this, too) in comparison, so my residual feelings are just pretty much missing that JRPG.
The art is okay and it’s short and it’s free, but, otherwise, there’s not much going for it.
Next up: Ooo, I’m excited for this one! But multiplayer dating sim? I might need to put the call out for some group achievement hunts!
See you soon!
wait multiplayer… no i dont want to find someone to help me with that story ahhh
I’ve played it through a few times, and it seems like you can get through the game on your own with one player! Getting all the achievements, on the other hand… none seem to be locked to multiplayer, but the more you’re able to play it through, the better…
As much as I try, I don’t think this’ll be one I can 100%!
multiplayer is the bane on my 100% existence. They are a pain to get and you got to work out time to play it with someone you know or rely on a bunch of strangers. Playing borderlands with someone I know it can takes hours just to get through a couple of missions. Then there’s portal 2 with its whole you need 3 friends because finding 1 is to easy
