Hi, you guys. I’ve just completed my first full day of work and I am happy but exhausted. I did so much shit today, and for the vast majority of the day I was around other people (it’s a small office with desks n junk, not cubicles) (oh my god I miss my cubicle) AND I did phone things AND I did way more math/number shit that I was prepared for… and didn’t fuck up too much! I kept things together and picked up things fast, if I do say so myself. It was thrilling! I was responsible! And I am so tired, Expect a major slowdown in reviews until my stamina and endurance (my dump stats, natch) catch up.
… that is, unless RNGesus keeps giving me really short VNs like this one.
This one really isn’t anything at all, period. The CG art and backgrounds are nice, but the sprite art isn’t great, and the UI is Bad News Bears. The text box is teeny at the bottom of the screen, and for SOME reason they decided that the outline of the girl’s text should be in a hard-to-read gold. Luckily, I didn’t have to read it for long - the story is over and done in a flash.
I love beachy/Medrterranean settings, and there was so much to go into that the game just… didn’t. I kept this from a bundle, and that’s really all this is good for. That, and a quick 100%.
… I’m not appreciating these bundled games very much, aren’t I? Ha! A lot of them just haven’t been very good!
Next up: … you know, I have a sinking feeling I’m not going to like this one very much, either.

you know what, there’s a route in this game that’s literally dating your for-real sister (they’re not even doing the paper-thin ‘oh one of you is adopted’ thing). I’m gucci; I don’t need this on my account.

Listen - I read shitty VNs so you won’t have to, but there are certain lines in the sand. I’ll sit through really casually misogynist dumb horny-boy highschool rom-com shit, to a point, (what I thought this VN was at first), but rape and/or incest are very painful no-gos.
Imagine me, if you will, heaving a really big and really tired sigh as I gaze out a window into a dark and rainy night like a particularly gallant but exhausted detective in a noir film. I’ve seen too much shit.

Glad you had a good first day! Just reading about it made me tired haha, so many people definitely drains the ‘ol energy. Hope things get a bit easier as it goes on and adjust quickly, plus manage to balance having fun & video games in the meantime.
