Update Two Hundred and Ninety-Eight: 5 April 2019
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Okay, I wasn’t expecting this to be THAT short. Short game gets short review:
Frosty Kiss is a little short story where you can spend a little more time with the girls you met in Everlasting Summer. Lena’s holding a New Years’ party and everyone’s invited—awkward Semyon included.
The translation is… very… rough, but I appreciate the updated sprites and the CGs, one each except for poor Slavya, are much improved from before. It’s hard to feel much irritation at it because of its length and price (free), but it’s hard to feel much of anything about it, either. A very quick 100%.
Paradoxically, it makes me more excited for their upcoming VN than ever—though I hope that translation is much, much more deft. I think this one was a rush job—I recall Frosty Kiss being Russian-only for a while.
Next up: Ooooh, now THIS one I’m excited for!
See you soon!
Had a quick glance at Ghosts of Miami’s store page, it has definitely an interesting, colorful look to it. Have fun!
I bet I will! I’m looking forward to liking it - my luck seems to have largely turned re: VNs
