Update Two Hundred and Forty-Six: 20 October 2018
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
It’s not a weekend if I don’t post a bunch in a row, is it?
Short and sweet, Copoka is an interesting take on giving us a perspective that only video games could really explore - civil unrest from the perspective of a bird. You just want to fly around, pick up some shit so you can fill out your nest - there’s nothing you can do about the humans’ world changing around you.
I kind of liked that - I liked being unobtrusive, completely invisible, able to land right next to the Great Leader to pick up a medal she dropped and then fly off and land next to the rebel leader a couple of minutes later. The cyclical nature of the story suits it, too - big and small, things change and stay the same.
Decent controls, interesting if not very deep story, nice graphics - pick it up if you’re up for some flying. A nice little game.
Next up: Oh my god I need to add my theme games to the theme page. Why not one more?
See you soon!
