Short game gets a short review: MechaNika is an okay point-and-click adventure game! It exists, it’s really easy to 100% clear it, it’s about a little girl who gets fed tf up with… uh… having to do schoolwork, so she collects various items (and gets her grandfather killed??) and builds a huge robot to destroy the world. Is less cute than it sounds.
Like, it’s okay. I get the whole adult-swim-y subversive cute, but that kind of shit rarely lands for me and it didn’t land here, either. (I’ll watch Tuca & Bertie for that instead.) As a point and click game, it’s all right, though the only two font choices there are are pretty hard to read.
Overall? Meh!
… oh, man, come on, I gotta have more to say about this game, right? Do I?
… all the meme references really date the game. … That’s all I got. Oh, man, this post can’t be THAT short, can it? My D&D campaign is going absolutely crazytown bananapants good rn! I’m losin’ it.

Mimpi and Mimpi Dreams are some really cute games, I’ve played them both. Need to play them again cause it’s so relaxing playing.

Yeah, me neither! I didn’t feel the need to stick around and like talk to people the way I normally do, though, bc the fuckin text was a pain to read. That helped a lot, for sure.

Oh yeah, that happens! Just yesterday I purged my VNDB profile from VNs I read back in the day but didn’t actually care about, and looking at screenshots from some of them… how on Earth did I even read that?!
