Update Fifty-One: 16 September 2017
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Oh my god what did I do to myself.
I thought this was going to be a simple puzzle game I could get a bunch of achievements from, and it was, but it was at a greater cost than I could ever have imagined.
I’m not one for motion sickness, not really, but everything about this game made me sick. The spinning colors, whirling backgrounds, and frenetic movement was really hard to stomach. I suffered for my 302 new achievements, and I’m never touching this thing again.
Next up: I had my girlfriend pick this time. She knows more than I do.
See you soon!
Oh geez. Even the trailer makes me feel woozy. Hopefully scrap garden is more kind to you :P
That sounds horrible! O.O
Have fun with Scrap Garden though :)
Happy weed killing (at least I guess, since it’s in the garden, right? ;) )
I tend to get sick with a lot of games but for some reason Slash It was mostly fine. Still, I’m not gonna play the sequel, the trailers for that look terrifying
I bought both when they were on sale…. I’m probably not going to touch Slash It 2 for a very, VERY long time @_@
Weird that you got motion sickness from Slash It since there are no changing perspectives or really anything like that usually induces this. I guess there are particular games that don’t work well with certain people. My Achilles heal with regards to this is Glow. I can only play this game in short burst or I’ll get sick for ages and I’ve never had any trouble with motion sickness before.
My kids loved watching me play Scrap Garden! We (I) finished it 100%! There’s also a free-to-play prequel called Scrap Garden– The Day Before.
Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you!
I think it’s…. okay. It’s a rather amateur indie game, maybe one step up from a college senior project. Not awful, just…. clumsy. I don’t doubt kids would like it a lot, though, and I’m glad yours did c:
