Another hidden object game I was pleasantly surprised by!

First off: Artifex Mundi lady returns! I have a feeling that this is one of her earlier games - her voice is a little higher and a little less confident than I’ve heard it. Sounds a little bit younger, too. It’s a refreshing feeling, and it also makes my heart warm - it’s like going back and watching a beloved actor in one of their first movies and feeling proud of how far they’ve come.

I’m just going to call it - if a hidden object game has a romance element to it, I’m probably going to like it a little bit more than I would otherwise. This game’s story isn’t beyond the norm for hidden object games, but it does set up a bait and switch that was nice, and by the conclusion of the bonus adventure everyone gets a happy ending. I dunno, guys, it was nice and sweet.

I hadn’t heard a lot about this game before, so I worried if it was a dud. Fear not! It’s not - a good, single-serving, self-contained game to warm yourself by on a frosty winter’s day. Only downside: this is from the Artifex Mundi era where they make you play the game twice to get all the hidden object/matching games achievements.

Next up: I’m going to cheat a little and pick out some shorter games I can try to squeeze in before February’s over!

See you soon!
