My name is Urban, and I try to clear my backlog for the past six months. Last time I played a game yesterday.

It was enjoyable slashing game with some puzzles, but I don’t know what else I can say. Sometimes there was too much “same” tasks. I mean, you need to do something the same (well, with slight changes) in another location, like fighting with guardians etc. Also there are some problems with the game itself – I had really laggy cut scenes, but by reading forums you can learn, that there can occur other problems, like no audio in cut scenes. It doesn’t make game unplayable, but it is a bit annoying.

Overall it’s good game and I recommend to try it.

Well, after long time I have finally another game to report. So, game I recently beaten is (drum roll)

Into the Breach

It’s a short, turn based game, that mixes strategy with logic game. You lead group of 3 mecha and need to fight with monsters. What’s important – you know monster’s targets in advance so your action are focused on preventing their actions.

I really like this game – it’s not hard, but still challenging. Of course I’m saying about beating game and not perfect run, which is probably beyond my capabilities. Good thing is also variety of mecha groups, what can make another runs enjoyable. But there is a catch – to unlock other mecha you need to spend coins, which you gain by unlocking achievements.

Overall I recommend this game, but if your backlog is huge, I recommend to wait until game will be in some bundle.

100% Orange juice – 100% campaign frustration. Really. This is nice board game, with easy but funny mechanism and friendly community, but playing story mode on difficulty higher than easy is a pain, because AI is boosted and have much better rolls than you. But if you ignore single player mode and will play with friends or strangers is really good. Also game is quite fast, so it’s easy to find time for a play.

Kingdom: Classic & Kingdom: New Lands – well, I’m not big fan of tower defense games, but this one wasn’t bad. I enjoyed playing it. But sadly is too repetitive. Every game looks the same for me. Since Kingdom: Classic was free, and most of you probably have it, I don’t recommend buying New Lands. There are no much differences to pay for it.
Btw, achievements in New Lands are probably bugged, because I was getting them without fulfilling condition. It looks like on game load game is no checking “day” condition, so for example there is achievement for having 8 archers at first day. If you will load game when you have those 8 archers at, let’s say, 23 day you will still get this achievement.

Hunie pop – well, weird mix of bejeweled and dating simulator, or maybe dating simulator parody, since it’s impossible to get rejection (unlike in real world >.>). What can I say, game is enjoyable, but it is hard to be not enjoyable unless you hate bejeweled. Photos of girls are nice reward, if you like 2D girls (I like >.>). Btw, I need to warning you guys, those girls are probably are cheating on you, because how otherwise they could took those photos? There is probably just another guy, who is playing with them in bejeweled.

I tried to be funny, but with my English it could went wrong. :v

Stardew Valley – really nice game, where you are farmer. Sounds boring? Well, I thought the same, but lot of positive reviews (and generosity of sg users) made me play this game.
So, for more than 40 hours I was planting, watering, harvesting etc. But not only. I was also fighting with monsters, crafting, cooking, interacting with NPCs. It was a lot of fun. I had even girlfriend. Almost.
Sadly, after one in game year game is becoming too much repetitive. Even there was still things to do I wasn’t excited enough to achieve them. But hey, I had 40 hours of fun before it got bored, right?
Overall I recommend to try this game, it’s really decent and it is going to have multiplayer – what can be really interesting.

The Count Lucanor – wow, I almost gave up this game, because I had some technical problems with controls, but I’m really happy that it finally worked.
It’s a short game (~4h to beat) with interesting storyline and game idea. If you will play it – take my advice: don’t hesitate to spend coins on game saves. I did. And I regretted it few times.

This time I beat Bioshock: Infinite. Well, since I played Bioshock 1 & 2 I expected really nice game. But it exceed my expectation. This game is what I missed in previous games - a city in its full glory. I can see its inhabitants, open shops, shining buildings etc. I like also changes in mechanics - possibility of carrying only two kinds of weapon, no annoying hacking and vigor traps. Only thing I don’t like in this game is… ending. I don’t really like open endings, since I like to know whole story. Now I will play DLC and I wish those are as good as base game.

Also small update for another game: Furi. Well, playing this game I learned that it isn’t kind of game I like. It is too hard for me, even on lower difficulty (yeah, I know that I’m peasant ;__;) and story isn’t interesting enough to keep playing. So I gave up it on 7th boss. Maybe someday I will beat it, but I doubt it since there are loads of good games waiting to play.

Hi guys, It took me some time to post new raport, but here I am, with beaten - Root Double -Before Crime * After Days.

Story of this gem really sucked me in. After finishing route A I needed to know answer for every unsolved mystery. So I beat route B, A again, C and D. It took me over 60 hours. But I don’t regret. Even if I needen to read almost the same text over and over, since some events are presented from various perspectives.

This game is really worth buying and comparing it to other visual novels prices I would even say that it’s cheap. If you like sci-fi stories I highly recommend you to try it, you will be not disappointed.

Finally. Idol Magical Girl Chiru Chiru Michiru completed.

It was wasting time in worst possible way. Nothing interesting. Not funny at all. I can’t really believe, that I read it till the end.

Maybe, but I really doubt it, it would be better if I know Fruit of Grisaia, since Chiru Chiru is spinn-off of it. If it is like that, please tell me. It will be good to know, that maybe it isn’t THAT bad.

This time I completed (well, all achievements are storyline related, so it wasn’t big deal) Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter. My opinion about this game is mixed. I liked storyline, but I think that it would be better as a book or maybe visual novel, since I think that most of challenges was boring and unnecessary. I needed to use walkthrough, since sometimes I missed one thing and couldn’t leave current location. Also control seems to be a bit buggy, it is possible to press button too fast and game doesn’t see, that you are already holding it. Well, in my opinion cases aren’t clear - I mean I wasn’t really convinced that this suspect is causer until ending scene where was revealing additional information, but reason of it can be fact, that I’m not a great detective ;).

Overall I recommend this game (because of storyline + it is possible to skip challenges), but not for regular steam price (45€ is way too much for it).

And here we go - 3rd raport!

This time I beated Bioshock 2 (remasterd). I really liked first Bioshock, but second one is better on every field - using guns and plasmids in the same time, way of hacking things or being little girl and seeing Rapture through rose colored glasses. Well, my English isn’t so good, so I can’t reading/hearing dialogues and fighting at the same time, so probably I missed some part of storyline, but even then I really enjoyed it.

So everything above + fact, that Bioshock games are cheap during sales - I really recommand everyone to try it out.
