Fourth week of February
I haven’t completed any games this week either. I was once again just reading books and working on these 2 games:
So I will do another batch of old games including some that while not amazing, they will always have a special place in my heart. I am still far from over with them as I am only done up to the 2nd half of 2015 :/

Hexcells - Completed in September 2014. Fun minesweeper like puzzle game, not much more to say.
PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+ - Completed in September 2014. Is there anyone out there that haven’t played Pac-man? Anyways, this is Pac-man with a bunch of customization.
Spoiler Alert - Completed in November 2014. Platform game that you solve in reverse. Pretty easy, but fun.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Completed in December 2014. The original Legendary Edition. You can’t really complete this game, there is so much shit to do, but I got all of the achievements so close enough right? You can also make this game whatever the fuck do you want it to be thanks to the billion and one mod available. God I don’t even know where to start here so I will just say that if you wanna sink +100 hours into a still good looking game (and you have already played The Witcher 3) this is a good one to choose, just don’t alt tab or chances are you are gonna crash.
Pixel Puzzles: Japan - Completed in January 2015. It is no secret that I love jigsaw puzzles and the Pixel Puzzles series (the time I spent in PPU should say everything) and this one being the first in the series started it all. I greatly enjoyed my time with it but I would recommend solving the puzzles from it in PPU (you get the DLC for free if you own the standalone) instead of the standalone game .
Transformice - Completed in January 2015. The first of the 2 games that will have a special place in my heart. Steam might say I only played it for a minute (I just downloaded it on Steam and signed into my account to get the achievements well after I actually quit playing), but god knows that I don’t even want to know how many hours I have played this game for as it is easily in the thousands and I was also in the top 1000 players once upon a time… The principle of the game is very simple: you are a mouse, you have to grab the cheese and then bring it into the hole possibly faster than the other players in your room. So why is the game so special to me even if I quit it over 5(?) years ago? Because of the people I met. I started playing it way back in 2010 and I met people who I still speak to to this day :) The game itself isn’t too bad either, fun thing to pass the time if you got nothing better to do.
Boson X - Completed in April 2015. Quite difficult runner that is surprisingly incredibly fun and addictive.
Hexcells Infinite - Completed in April 2015. More of Hexcells.
Hexcells Plus - Completed in April 2015. More of Hexcells Infinite.
APB Reloaded - Completed in May 2015. The second game that has a special place in my heart and I actually quite dreaded to when the time will come to write about it because I could write an essay about it due to my love hate relationship with it. I will divide it into bullet points because otherwise I am getting lost:
-
Why is the game so special to me? I met my boyfriend, with who I have now been together for many years in it <3 Additionally I have also met some great people and I am still friends with some to this day.
-
Why do I only have 56 out of 60 achievements on Steam and I have it marked as completed anyways? Because the game will only give you achievements once every 532453 time you load on a server and I quit the game before it managed to give me the last 4, I do have them in game tho. And no, SAM doesn’t work with it. EDIT on the 5th of March: the game finally gave me all the achievements over 2 years after I quit it. I can die in peace now.

What I love about it? It is such an unique game that there is nothing else like it out there (no GTA, is just not quite like it). It is a 3rd person shooter where you can be either a criminal or enforcer, group with up to 4 people (it is a game that should be always played with some friends, it is waaaaaay more fun that way), join a server and play in random missions against each other on an open world map. In those missions you can call other people in as backup so you can end up playing something ridiculous like a 10vs10. There is a wide variety of guns (from SMGs to grenade launchers and RPGs) that can be modded in many different way to suit your playstyle, you mission, its location and objective. The best part by far is the character and car customization of it. You can make some ridiculous things. Sadly I do not have any screenshots of the more crazy stuff, but here are some of my different outfits (mostly from behind for obvious reasons, sadly one of my favorite ones is missing and no one of my friends seem to have any uploaded either :( ) and cars:
Screenshots Inside - Warning, lots of them
- Oh and did I mention you can have a pink gun with hearts?
- What I hate about it? The devs of the company that bought the game after it was originally shut down are unbelievably incompetent. I am not even exaggerating, I have never seen more incompetent bunch of people. It is also the main reason why I finally gave up quit the game in 2015 after 2,5k hours. It makes my heart hurt because this game had so much potential and now it is dying a very slow death (I have a friend who still plays and from what he says there is a peak of around 1000 people per day on EU servers).
Wow, this ended up being the longest post I have ever done by a country mile o.o there is probably a bunch of mistakes in there, but it is 2 and half in the morning so I don’t give a shit
lol, that LinoMimmo in that HelloKitty-car pic is saying some obscenities in italian, I guess because he’s sure noone understands him =P
Haha I didn’t even notice that :D The thing is there is an absurdly high amount of Italians in this game (about 75% of people I played with were Italian) so I am pretty sure at least a handful of people understood him myself included :D
