Third week of May progress
This one is really early, but I am leaving for Germany again on Sunday and I still haven’t even taken my suitcase out yet so I will just post it now so I can put it out of my head.
Completed SG win
Diamo XL - I won it from one of those massive GAs that it is usually trash games so this one surprised me when it didn’t suck. It is still not the best game out there but it is 100% playable and actually kinda fun. You move around a “diamond” grid avoiding enemies and collecting points. It should probably take way less than 5 hours to complete but I am trash at it :D
Other completed game
Fruit Sudoku🍉 - Sudoku in a 4x4 grid. Its trash and takes about 5 minutes to get all the achievements.

Beautiful Japanese Scenery - Animated Jigsaws - Completed in March 2017. The title of the game already explains everything. A jigsaw game where the image you are solving is animated and the sceneries are pretty cool.
Intergalactic Bubbles - Completed in March 2017. I played this exclusively on Linux so I have no idea if Windows has the same problem. The game is really bad at recognising that you matched 3 balls of the same color which is a little bit of a problem in a match 3 game… Ignoring this issue it was kinda nice to play this kind of game from a different perspective. I just wish it would look a little bit better.
Fall of the New Age Premium Edition - Completed in March 2017. Very very meh HOG.
Gnumz: Masters of Defense - Completed in April 2017. This game makes it blatantly obvious that it is a mobile port, but at least it does not have microtransations implemented anymore. It is not an amazing tower defense game either and it gets really hard at some point but I enjoyed my time with it enough anyways.
SquareCells - Completed in April 2017. This game was not what I was expecting it to be. I hoped it would be more nonogramy, but it is still a pretty nice puzzle game.
The Secret Order 2: Masked Intent - Completed in April 2017. Not one of my favourite HOGs, but it wasn’t too bad either.
The Deed - Completed in April 2017. A RPG maker game that doesn’t actually suck. Can you believe that? It is a murder mystery game where you try to get away with murder by framing other people. There is a decent amount of ways you can go about it.
Princess Isabella: The Rise of an Heir - Completed in April 2017. Godamit I played way too many HOG games (I am writing all these well in advance and I can already see that the next 9 ones are going to be HOG games, please kill me). This one has really bad reviews on Steam but I found it to be OKish.
Adam Wolfe - Completed in April 2017. Probably one of the best HOG games that exist and it is not even made by Artifex Mundi. Personally I found it to be a little bit longwinded as it was nearing the end, but it is really worth a try.
Mind Snares: Alice’s Journey - Completed in April 2017. Pretty good HOG.
I always crack a smile when i see a post with completed and not just beaten games. :D You did a good job there, assassinating a fair chunk of your backlog with 100% accuracy! ^^ Also i agree about the recognition of 3 matched balls in Intergallactic Bubbles, and since i played it on Windows i would say it’s a thing of the game not your operative system. Appart from that though i really enjoyed this game. The bomb strategy/use made it a bit more easy than i would want but whatever. :P
At last i think it’s time to search actively for a good deal for Adam Wolfe. Been eyeballing this game for quite a long and i trust your judgement that it is an excellent HOG. :)
Wish you happy backlog assassination and achievement hunting!!
I am one of those people who need to have everything 100%ed otherwise it will bug me forever 33 beaten vs 289 completed games should be the proof of that :P
Ah, good to know. From my experience games on Linux can have some weird bugs here and there versus their Windows counterparts so I wasn’t sure what exactly was going on there. Glad to hear you enjoyed it as well :)
If I remember correctly it was in a bundle a while ago so I am sure it will pop up again sooner or later, hopefully sooner ^^ Hope you will like it as well and my judgment wont screw you over :)
Thank you! Same to you as well :)
