Overview: June 2019

New Games

This month has been a month of buying/acquiring games. Between the Steam Summer Sale and my birthday, I got 14 new games. It was actually 15, but I refunded Locomotion because I didn’t enjoy it enough to continue playing. I got 2 of these games from Kinguin’s Crazy Free Weekend, 2 were gifted to me as birthday gifts, 1 was given by Ostkungen (thanks again!), and the rest I bought on Steam.

Beaten

Although I bought so many games this month, I also cleared a lot of games from my backlog. (I know, 6 games is nothing for a lot of people here, but I only own 70+ games with the intention of playing maybe 70% of it, so 6 is a lot of games for me, haha.)

I’ve tried really hard to complete Slime Rancher but the last 3 achievements that are left are haaaard. I’m hoping to get around to completing them later this summer, because I’ve played enough Slime Rancher during this month for a long time – 40 something hours!

I’m not sure if I’ll get around to completing My Big Sister because its achievements require replaying the game a couple times, and the gameplay isn’t that engaging for me to do that. I might consider going back to it after a couple months, but even if I complete it, it will take a long while.

Plans for July

I don’t have a complete list for what I want to play in July, but here’s a couple games that I’m thinking of starting! I promised my friend who gifted me Hollow Knight that I’ll get around to playing that game as soon as I can, so I will probably start it next month. Others, I’m not so sure about. I should probably try out all of the new games to see if I want to refund.

I’m also not sure but I might check out 103 in July.

Other than these games, I’ll also play a game that fits the July theme of PAGYWOSG event if I have one.
