Was challenged to complete Spec Ops: The Line.
Well, I finished it. I won’t complete it. Deconstructing the shooter is definitely not my thing. Certain parts were too realistic in terms of game mechanics.
The Story was less than fun, but that wasn’t what bugged me so much. Sure the themes for the game aren’t happy, and it’s definitely a downer, but that doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy it
Anyways, finished and now uninstalling. But while not completed, that was enough for me. Time to go find something quite a bit more fun and enjoyable.

I’m glad to read I’m not the only one who didn’t enjoy Spec Ops that much. I think it’s been overhyped to me how I’d have my mind blown and all that, which didn’t happen :(

Yes there are couple of really disturbing scenes.
Scenes don’t bother me that much. I just didn’t enjoy it. I’m not into gaming to have one of my favorite genre’s deconstructed in front of me. I play games to enjoy them, not analyze them ;)
