Thanks for letting me join to help encourage me to not only play games but to actually finish them. I started organizing my games into categories like rpg, puzzle, strategy, etc. I have two kids who need my attention so most of the time I leave games running days at time so when I do have time to play I’m not wasting time getting the game to load etc…as result my play times are never accurate. I recently realized during the day it is easier to play what I call a coffee break style game and play more involved games at night after kids have gone to bed. This strategy seems to be working great so far. I finished Mind Snare’s:Alice’s Journey and 100% 12 Labours of Hercules while finally finishing The Witcher! I’m currently playing 12 Labours of Hercules II while playing Witcher II…I will not feel guilty now when I finally pick up Witcher III lol.
Welcome to the group! Have fun going through your backlog. :) There was a small discussion recently about organizing Steam libraries here if you’re interested. I’m also about to finish categorizing my games, with the help of Depressurizer and also this website.
Sorry haven’t replied sooner but I have been busy packing and stressing about where we are going after we close on our house. Good News! We found a house we like and have started process to buy it but will have about two weeks in a hotel before we can move in. Thanks for the suggestion!
Welcome! :)

Welcome aboard. I also have two kids so I can empathise with you :) I am employing a similar strategy, “casual” games until they go to bed and then Witcher :-)

Welcome aboard, fellow newcomer. How do you feel about the Witcher?

I know alot of people complain about The Witcher but I actually enjoyed it even tho the swamp got a little tedious. I liked the game and story enough to buy the first witcher book and read it. I look forward to reading the rest of the books.
