Fourth week of May
I did things! Many things! And removed a bunch of games of my backlog :) And this week is a bit different since for the first time I have actually played a few console games since I got access to my boyfriends PS3.

NEKOPARA Vol. 1
Bitcoin - Clicker game where there is not much to do at all. You can buy a motherboard, CPU and GPUs for a set amount of computers. Once you buy a GPU you can’t upgrade it anymore with a better model, but you can accidental downgrade your CPU because fuck logic right?
A Salem Witch Trial - Visual novel with no sound, resolution or text speed settings. The Steam overlay doesn’t work either. But even with all those issues I didn’t find the game to be too bad. Without going into spoilers I can say that most of the endings are pretty similar but the actual true ending was definitely not what I expected it to be.
Passpartout: The Starving Artist - A drawing game that gets repetitive pretty quick especially if you go for completion and do all 4 of the different art paths. It could definetly do with some addition to it like more colors to paint with, a bigger canvas, different painting techniques and upgrades for the gallery so you could hang more paintings at once.
Crankies Workshop: Whirlbot Assembly - An achievement spam trivia game. You get all those achievements once you close the game and that literally made my Steam client crash. As for the questions in the game 3/4 of them made me go “WTF, how am I supposed to know that”.
Countryballs: Over The World - A very short Polanball themed game. I love me some Polandball but this game is not very good. The endless modes are okish (one is a Flappy Bird clone and one is a find Poland in between the other country balls), the main game is the problem because the movement is very sketchy feeling.
Starting the Game - A short narrator kinda game where you try to as the name suggest start up a game. I suppose most people wouldn’t like it but I actually found it quite amusing. My only problem with it was that I gets a bit buggy at some points.
A Shawn Story - Another narrator game, this one has multiple endings. This one doesn’t even have 1080p as an option and the max resolution is some really weird one. Not that it matters, the game looks like shit. It very much gave me the feeling that it tries to be The Stanley Parable a little bit too much. It has some serious issues with the story and the fact that you can’t skip the talking when you replay it just makes it a lot worse.
Hangover - A short and weird point and click game. RIP headphone users because it is really loud (the game even makes fun of it with the achievements) and I didn’t seem to see any sound options.
NEKOPARA Vol. 1 - I kinda knew what I was going into but it still caught me off guard just how creepy this game is. The way it was written it made it really hard to follow it for me and I could obviously not get into it. Also the play this game in English and Japanese achievements are switched around for some reason.
Other completed games
Roads of Rome - A time management, clear the road game that is very very similar to the 12 Labours of Hercules series (but I think this one was released first). What is missing from it is the ability to schedule moves/tasks in advance and the ability to cancel them as well.
Journey (PS3) - I would describe it as a mix or an exploration game, walking simulator and a puzzle game. It was a very enjoyable game to play and I definitely recommend it if you own a PS3/PS4.
Flower (PS3) - It came together with the Collectors edition of Journey. It is a lovely game where you go around and collect flowers (and destroy things in one level). My only problem with it is that you have to use the motion sensor to control the movement instead of for example the thumb sticks (or whatever they are called, I don’t really use controllers ever).
Flow (PS3) - Same as Flower, it came together with Journey. It is very similar to the Sparkle games on PC. I found it extremely boring and the fact that I had to use motion controls to move around and up and down was inverted (with no option to change it) make me dislike the game even more.

Queen’s Quest: Tower of Darkness - Completed in April 2017. I don’t remember much about this one but it wasn’t all that great.
Tibetan Quest: Beyond the World’s End - Completed in April 2017. It was ok.
A si imela sound on za Journey? <_<
Ne boš verjela: Ja :D
Ah, I don’t see myself ever owning a PlayStation, but Journey is something that I’d like to experience. (I could find a playthrough on youtube, but it just won’t be the same). :)
Its a shame it is not on PC :( if you ever get the chance to borrow a PS3/4 for a couple of hours its definitely worth a playthrough.
Re: Salem Witch Trial - Yeesh, that’s a lot of things missing for a VN. It’s short enough though that I’ll keep trying to win it on SG.
You’ve gotten a LOT of stuff done! You’re ending May on a real high note.
Yea, when I opened the settings my reaction was literally: are you for real?! I hate not having the whole text show up immediately and having to click for it :/ It was good enough for something I got for free, there is definitely a lot worse stuff out there :)
Yep, I am very satisfied with it :3 Since the post I have added another game to the completed list and I am just about to start the next one. Being in Germany always makes me incredibly productive :D
