Finished:
Access Denied: Escape - small puzzle game
Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot: The First Cases - not quite what I expected, good for a passive afternoon
Alwa’s Awakening - simple and engaging, quick respawn helps
Alwa’s Legacy - directly builds upon the first Alwa game and again, quick respawn
Axiom Verge - atmospheric, memorable music and visuals
Blacksad: Under the Skin - unpolished
Boti: Byteland Overclocked - colourful with rough edges
Cloudpunk - rather “on wheels”, has some nice cyberpunk touches
Cosmic Star Heroine - quite fun, great QoL, carries off with charm what would make another game a cringy mess
Elderand - competent and lean
Figment 2: Creed Valley - not my cup of tea
Fumiko! - unusual, the particle effects can be a bit too much, loved how the theme of flight/freedom is echoed through the mechanics, loathed the different movement scheme enforced in a few late-game segments
Garden Story - underwhelming, cycling the days/tasks felt repetitive
Gato Roboto - tiny metroidvania, didn’t quite click for me
Hoa - small puzzle-platformer
Imp of the Sun - needs more polish and a better map
Little Orpheus - very simple game, the dialogue made me laugh a few times
Loop Hero - rewarding iterations, took effort with its setting and lore, consistent atmosphere and mood
Mutazione - visited for the plants
Redeemer - creative violence
Soulstice - great setting and interesting characters, would have loved this as a more story-focused game, as is, a lot of it is fighting the same battles in very similar environments
Sparklite - upgrades-focused pixel game
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - nostalgia
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II - more nostalgia
Steelrising - automatons - another signature Spyders concoction: flawed yet weirdly compelling
Tengami - tiny puzzle book
The Maker’s Eden - short, dev-unfinished adventure
Truberbrook - not a stellar adventure game
Webbed - charming and wacky
Yaga - rough around the edges, distinctive art
Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana - Ys ^_^
Zoeti - forgiving deckbuilder

Arbiter Libera

Cosmic Star Heroine - quite fun, great QoL, carries off with charm what would make another game a cringy mess

I really have to get around to this at some point. Grandia-inspired combat system is tempting.
