Update 128: January 2024
Where has the time gone? Wasn’t it just Christmas?
Another one of the hidden xyz games. Sadly they reset the cheevos for some reason after I played it and now I can't get them anymore without resetting everything and you need DLC for 100% -_-
Another one of the hidden xyz games. Works nicely and it's free
Ideal for anyone who has a cleaning obsession or loves order. Sometimes the placement of things doesn't make sense (why should it be placed under the bed) or it's not clear what it should be and where to put it. The initial levels are fun, but later in the game you have to organize a whole house over several floors and the game gets a bit long-winded. Could have been a bit shorter. Was overall fun though.
Good time management game, similar to the 12 Labours of Hercules series. Nothing super new, but it was fun.
What can I say about this game. Has very negative reviews in the Steam store and after playing it I can understand some of them. Try not to play the game with mouse and keyboard. In my experience it is almost impossible. It works with a controller, but it's no walk in the park either. You have to climb up giant Ravenii, huge titan-like monsters that try to kill you and the civilians around you and destroy the city, while swarms of small monsters try to kill you too. Depending on the level, you either have to kill these Ravenii (by decapitation) or you have to save civilians or the city. Some of the levels are randomly generated, some have fixed objectives. To be able to decapitate Ravenii you have to fill up your meter by saving civilians or killing small monsters or smashing armor on the Ravenii. Only then will you be able to decapitate the Ravenii. The levels with a time limit are the worst. I got stuck on them a few times
Trials of The Illuminati: Animated Christmas Time Jigsaws
One star is already too much. Strange puzzle game where the pictures on the puzzle pieces move. Gives all achievements for opening the game. Not recommended.
First Sniper Elite game. Playable but has not aged well. Unfortunately I only have this version and not the remastered one. You can tell the game is from 2005.
Nice puzzle game. Some levels are super difficult, others are super easy. Strange behavior when unlocking achievements/levels. Some levels were skipped. I then unlocked the levels in the txt file to be able to play them. Then the achievements also popped.
Cute, relaxing puzzle game. Some of the 3D dioramas were quite difficult because you couldn't clearly see what went where. Especially the giant ones.
A bit like an interactive cartoon, relatively funny and entertaining. You accompany two losers through their experiences in the zombie apocalypse. Can they survive and still make a profit? Who will you let die?
WHY?!? Anyone expecting ghost stories here is out of luck. You are in a house where you have to search for random things while being chased by a headless ghost, if he catches you, he kills you. Suddenly appearing ghosts (jumpscares) are the order of the day and you are suddenly warped to another location. Hardly a game.
The puzzle game itself is good, with beautiful motifs. What was annoying was the music, which you can't switch off or turn down. I'll never understand why they don't use the 5 extra minutes in development to include these basic functions. Would make this decent game into a good one.
I found it quite amusing. I can imagine that it can be a lot of fun with friends. Alone with AI players, it was okay, but nothing special.
Normally I'm not a big fan of trivia games because they're either impossible because they're too hard (too focused on a specific theme) or too easy. This one has just the right mix. You can choose between different themes and game modes or a mixture of everything. The devs are very proactive and are constantly developing new modes and theme categories. If it continues like this it will be a very good game
Typical HOG. Only cheevo I hated was the solve HOG scene in under 20 seconds.
