iracional 88

Finished:
1954 Alcatraz - older Daedalic adventure
AI: The Somnium Files - VN, felt rather off/weird
Arcania - mindless, nostalgic, not great
Arcania: Fall of Setarrif - a bit more of the same
Astalon: Tears of the Earth - fantastic metroidvania, superb characters
Batora: Lost Haven - the colours are nice, I guess
Blacktail - interesting, but I loathed the enemy swarms
Chronicles of Mystery: the Scorpio Ritual - old adventure-lite game
Crying Suns - great setting (with echoes of Dune) and nice writing, memorable
Eternal Threads - hoped for more plot-wise
Flame Keeper - repetitive
Gamedec - not my cup of tea, goes very meta
Grotto - different, dropped it at the end
Haunted - older adventure game
Indivisible - mixed feelings - jarring writing, great animations
Islets - interesting little metroidvania, simple but clean
Jusant - climbing game - played it for the adorable balast
Legends of Kingdom Rush - fun and cartoonish
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy - loved the banter, loathed the QTEs and ship mouse controls
Overclocked: A History of Violence - older adventure game, not for me
Quern - Undying Thoughts - Myst-styled puzzle game
Rollerdrome - worth a spin, kudos for having options to let even less skilled players complete the main game
Ruiner - fun and violent cyberpunk romp with a nice story undertone
ScourgeBringer - fantastic character movement system
Seers Isle - VN, nice art, obfuscated action meanings
South of the Circle - walking sim, expected more story-wise
Strange Horticulture - relaxing and cleverly presented - plants and maps ^^
Syberia 3 - tis bad - worked through it with a guide, still suffered
Syberia: The World Before - beautiful scenery, odd entry story-wise for Syberia
Teslagrad 2 - advanced abilities are behind timed challenges -
-
The Bookwalker - halfway between great and messy
The Greater Good - loved it - chill music, interesting visuals, simple story, but satisfying to play through. Different in a good indie way
The Knight Witch - lovely art, warm-and-fuzzy feels, has options letting even us bullet-hell-challenged get to the end of the story
The Magister - So ugly I almost dropped it at char-selection screen, but the actual gameplay was pretty solid.
The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature - small commentary on the book
This Way Madness Lies - odd little RPG maker game with patchwork plot
Tiny Glade - not a game, but oddly relaxing
Vampyr - solid, atmospheric RPG
Venba - liked the recipes
Wildfire - nice setting, creative with its abilities, balances planning, chaos and rampaging failures one walks away from
