Last cycle, I only beat 3 games. I started and left half-way several games. š¤ The feeling of staying home all the time has made me anxious to start a new game, but thatās not how I normally operate. I also bought too many games last quarter. Until I beat at least 2 unfinished games a month, I wonāt start any new games. Definitely not long ones.
My friends have gifted me some games. I need to start keeping track of those games that Iāve been gifted so I can fit them in some way. New list: games, Iāve been gifted: The Tenth Line, Fallout 4, and Criminal Girls.
Sub-goal 1: Beat at least one game fitting in Monthly BLAEO Theme.
Sub-goal 2: Beat at least 1 game fitting PAGYWOSG Theme.
Sub-goal 3: Beat at least 1 game from my POP picks.
Sub-goal 4: Remember to write a review for each game beaten.
How odd and unusual. Canāt say Iāve ever done that before.
Your friend gifted you Fallout 4? Damn!
What game are attacking first?
Oooof sorry for the late reply š«. I didnāt think Iād actually get a reply on this post. I hardly use BLAEO except to update the games Iāve beaten, so I just saw this message now.
Yep, my workout buddy gifted me Fallout 4, since itās one of his favorite games he recommends. Iām not usually into 3D open-world games, but definitely plan to give it a shot and tell him about my experience. I of course plan on updating my post once Iāve beaten it.
Since Iāve been busy with real-life work, I only managed to beat 1 game this month (Bastion). I plan to make it up by beating 3 games in June. The first game I plan to finish is the life-sim Worldās Dawn. Followed by Fallout 4. Definitely want to beat the horror survival Subterrain as well.
Worldās Dawn looks fun and relaxing.
I beat Subterrain and wrote a walkthrough for it. Unfortunately I canāt recommend it: https://steamcommunity.com/id/lext/recommended/340490
Ooh you wrote that guide. Damn what a coincidence š. Thank you for the guide! I was able to actually get pretty far on my 3rd permadeath run thanks to your tips (on my 3rd tier chips run). After dying from being pinned by mutants, I think Iām ready to just try it on easy without permadeath XD.
I think I still like the game despite itās difficulty.
I only played it on Easy! Iām terrible at top-down shooters, but I was drawn in by the atmosphere and the crafting.
True that atmosphere and crafting is pretty great. I only played on normal and perma-death so I could get the ātrue experienceā of how the developers envisioned it. Like playing a horror movie where youāre constantly on edge, shining your flashlight around the corner. I only wish there an auto-pick-up option. The amount of time Iāve spent looking in the dark to see if an enemy dropped a tooth, blood, nail really adds up. Probably not really worth it since I think I hoarded a ton of it without really using them.
