Winter 2024
While very different from the main Bayonetta series, this prequel is a charming experience. The storybook-like tale is very well written, combat requires both strategy and skill and the colorful intricate game world is a pleasure to explore.
This game is superb in every way. The story was interesting all the way through and the ending quite unexpected. I think the devs stretched the RPG Maker engine to its limits with this title!
A dark, dark tale. You probably have already heard about the stunning visuals but the audio work is also second to none. The combat mechanics are pretty good but fighting the same enemies ended up being tedious.
A very enjoyable title reminiscent of those late 2000s games like Prototype. Very straightforward, it's a combination of stealth and all-out combat which both require thinking and precise execution. I wanted action and this game delivered.
Despite the high difficulty even on easy, I had an nice time with this underrated game. Combat and gear offer many options, the story is pretty entertaining (but short) and the dialogues have some great one-liners.
A short but uplifting game. The central theme being the delicate balance between cultural preservation and integration, it's quite sad at times but the delicious cooking sections will leave you with a smile and an appetite!
Meh all over. I didn't like the main character, the pacing is off and the story is mostly boring. I absolutely loved Life Is Strange (by the same devs) and maybe making this game episodic would have worked out better.
Thanks for Ara Fell, on my backlog, will go up to my list of games to try …
This looks so well organized I can’t just ignore it. I like the layout! I know this takes a lot of work to pull off, so well done!
Thanks. I’ve changed layouts countless times over the years but I think I’m going to stick to this one.
It looks amazing! Is it easy to make this or you had to code it yourself? Meaning, is there such a tool that does it for you much easier?
I coded it myself but It’s not hard if you know a little about CSS (Cascading Style Sheets, basically webpage formatting). There may be tools out there to help but it’s faster to look for info on how to achieve what you want. After that, all you need is Windows notepad and a lot of patience to get it right. Select one of the boxes, right-click and inspect the code in your browser. That way, you’ll see what it looks like.
Oh yeah, that’s what I have been using for the past 2 months, well 3. I started learning from others on this platform to CSS a bit. I want to slowly build my own style as for now, it’s a style that mixes a few that some awesome BLAEO members have been going by. I don’t want to use it in a way that looks like I’m stealing, so I owe all the respect to their hard work.
I remember when I started that I pointed out how to do it, so people guided me what to do. I just thought your design really looks gorgeous and maybe can be done as easily as the Boxes from Kubikill’s website.
