NEW YEAR - NEW PARENT
I'll beat my way through completion if I have to.
December didn’t go so well for my completions. I did beat a few large games, but nothing spectacular.
As some of you might know, I’ll be a dad soon, and my baby is due at the end of May. With that comes responsibilities, less time for gaming and completing, and who knows what other challenges.
So, I figured that with the last remaining 4 months, why not play games I really want, complete the unfinished ones, and not worry about any sort of challenge?
Who knows when I’ll be playing video games again after that.
So my plan is quite simple: complete unfinished games and experience the ones I’ve always wanted to play.
Simple, right?
We shall see!
On another note, my Game of the Year and Honorable Mentions are now updated and in my profile.

Well said, and congratulations! You know what really kills your gaming: twins! :O
That said, from what I read your wife is a gamer, so that suggests that it will remain a part of your life, and then you need to indoctrinate the next generation of gamers! :D
Good luck on your strange, wonderful journey.
I do want my kid, boy or girl, to game responsibly. Not make it into a form of addiction as I did. It did help me cope with depression as a teen, but I understand that no form of addiction is good. I want them to choose their way, but if they turn to love gaming as we both do, I’d be happy.
Anything could happen in the near future, like have another child. That would surely finish me off for a while. I am thinking that I might turn back to strategy games again.
