Gameplay Summary

To close out the year, I played a bit at the beginning of the month, and a lot more at the end of the month. Due to a longer vacation to use up PTO from work, I had some extra time to beat more games in my backlog. This brings my play for 2024 to a close as we hearken the new year. This was a much slower gaming session than December 2023, but it was still good to beat some more games.

In Progress Completion: Beat Saber

I actually don’t remember much about what I did in Beat Saber this month. It was early in the month, so I probably just played some random songs to practice. More will be played later.

Beaten: The Jackbox Survey Scramble

I bought Survey Scramble during the Winter Sale to get some more games to play with family, friends, and colleagues at work, and it delivered. The game takes survey data from users and aggregates it to form survey results, which you try to guess while playing various forms of games. For those who are familiar, it is similar to Family Feud, but the lists are significantly longer. The person with the most stars at the end of play wins. I love this new title from Jackbox, and I will definitely play it later.

Beaten: Transistor

I have had this game since 2015, and it was picked for me on PoP several times, though I did not ever play it until now. This action RPG is interesting, unique, and fun to play. It is simple enough to beat, and and I have heard from other players it is reasonable to 100%. My only gripe is that my desktop was too powerful to run it, so I had to play it on my laptop. This was fine since I plugged my laptop into our living room TV to play it on the big screen while lounging on the couch.
