Days Gone but Not Forgotten!
Lots of cool stuff coming with E3 right around the corner. I’m super excited to hopefully hear more info on the new consoles coming. Mainly PS5 since that’s the only one I’ll be buying. I do want to hear what MS has planned but since their planning on bringing more games to PC then there’s no reason for me to buy their next console. So far though the PS5 specs shown off so far are sounding pretty sweet. I’m also hoping to see some new unannounced games. It’s always a great day to be a gamer with so many options out there for us to have our fun with the hobby we love. Enough about that and on to my gaming update.

PS4 Gaming News Updates…
I finally finished Days Gone and unlocked the platinum trophy. I really enjoyed the story and gameplay. It starts off a little slow and you meet new characters a pretty big expanding map. When you first look at the map it only lets you scroll over a section of it which makes you think that’s the size of the whole area. Then you unlock a new area and you’re like holy crap there’s more. The story picks up when you start to discover new things that surprised me and really pushed me forward. There is quite a lot to do with all the main storyline, side missions, upgrades, and collectibles to find. I’m not sure how long it took me to finish it all since Sony doesn’t show us our game time and the game also doesn’t have anything in the in-game stats. I would figure around 50 hours for the 100% completion. It did have some bugs which weren’t game breaking but did give some annoyance once and a while. Most of them I experienced near end game too. Overall I had a great time and would definitely love to see a sequel. There’s plenty to go off of for future titles. I’d say the game stands about an 8/10.
Let’s see I also played some Battlefront II with my buddy who decided to pick it up since it was like $7 on PSN. We had some fun in the multiplayer modes but I do need to get around to playing the campaign since I have had the game for like six months. I did reinstall Destiny 2 cause part of me wants to play it with my other friends again but I’m also kind of burnt out on it. The Season of Opulence starts on the 4th and it has a new raid so I may just have to get back into it. Last I’m not sure what I’ll work on finishing next on my PS4 but it’ll most likely be God of War or Assassin’s Creed Origins. Both I have put some playtime in but just not finished and actually not too far into them.

PC Gaming News Updates…
Nothing new with Grim Dawn since I didn’t play it this last week. May jump on it today or tomorrow.
Started playing this a few days ago with Killshot my main gaming buddy on PC. We finished the first game Thursday night and then knocked out the second game last night. We’ll probably finish off the third one tonight or tomorrow. We’ve had a good time playing them and had some pretty funny moments. It’ll be great to knock another game off the backlist with the completion of this game.

Final Thoughts…
On a final note, I forgot to mention I’m looking forward to GOG Galaxy 2.0. Could be a really cool thing to have if it all works the way they are planning. Having all my gaming info, Steam, Origin, PS4, GOG, etc, in one spot could be awesome. Will make it a lot easier to track what I own and where. It looks like a big job for them but it could be a game changer. If you haven’t seen what they are planning you can check it out here and even sign up for the beta: GOG Galaxy 2.0
They also have a pretty good sale going on right now and I was thinking of picking up Pillars of Eternity II Obsidian Edition since it’s 60% off. Signing off for now so take it easy and GET GAMING!!!
