MGS 5 Ghost Ghost 2 Endlesssss... Infinateeeeeeeee.......

It’s 5 down this time, so I’m pretty happy.

Ground Zeroes

This being my fist MGS game, it took a while to figure out the mechanics, but once I did, it was fairly enjoyable. Highly looking forward to the full game, though I would have been disappointed had I payed anywhere near full frice, due to it being a demo for the full game at best, plus some side missions.

Ghost warrior 2

I actually like the ghost warrior series, and I remember playing it back on the console. Enjoyed it this time around, though more visceral bullet wounds as seen in the the sniper series is better. a very solid “o.k.” game

Call of Duty

I had put some time into the extinction mode with family, and that was a fun experience, although it took me a while to go through the campaign. Didn’t really innovate with anything, but still a solid “on the rails” shooter.

Dungeon of the Endless

Another one I came back to after almost finishing it previously. A lot of fun, definitely one I’m going to keep coming back to over the years. One of my favorite wins so far.

Ballpoint Universe

Fairly “artsy”, but honestly, not that bad for what it is. Nothing great here, But i enjoyed it as much as I could I think.

Formidolosus

Hehe, I’m glad I’m not the only one who calls Call of Duty “On Rails”. I say that in comments all the time to make fan boys angry. But let’s face it, you have zero free will in where to go next, and basically the only difference is the choice of where to look as you’re pushed along your path. It doesn’t mean a game is bad, but I like games with a bit more freedom personally.

Do people really get angry at that? It’s textbook on the rails. Not a bad thing in of itself, but it’s really fairly indisputable.

Formidolosus

Haha yeah they do. I think because ‘on rails’ evokes the idea of an actual rail shooter like house of the dead or virtua cop. But to me, a game with one path and NPC characters always egging you on to the next set piece pretty much defines it as being on rails to me. Can I take a minute to explore a side path? No it’s “Johnson, what the #### are you doing, get on that 50 cal and take down those bastards before we’re all shot to ####”. Ok then, guess I better get on the 50 cal.

Arbiter Libera

I own Dungeon of the Endless, actually completed the DLC collection recently, but never played it. Is it a roguelike or something?

DesertMouse1

Yeah, It’s rouge-like, Tower Defence-ish There are your standard “towers” but you’ll make use of up to 4 heroes as well, and strategy-heavy. There was a semi-steep learning curve for me, learning what works and what doesn’t. A basic gameplay guide will do wonders, as I feel a few elements aren’t explained fully enough for the novice.
