April’s Stats
aka. Lots of playing, not much finishing
Hello fellow assassins, I hope you all had a good april. Despite having a week almost free of gaming this month due to my laptop dying and the necessity to get a new one and save/migrate everything to it, I managed to play quite a lot, due to a combo of confinement and horrible weather anyway. That being said, most of that playing time as gone in all kind of endless addictions, both old and new (thanks Kaleith and Skatrzoo for the two new ones), and not much backlog progress was made, but a lot of fun happened so I have no regrets.
What have you been playing lately, any addictive stuff? (Not that I need more addiction really…)

ABC Challenge 2.0 Progress (3/27)
Finished this month: 0
Tag Challenge #1 Progress (2/12)
Finished this month: 0I really liked the ambiance and the whole setup of the game, even if it wasn't exactly what I expected. I was a bit disappointed by the abrupt way the game ends but the devs already announced they're looking into changing that so for sure I'll revisit it later and see the paths I did not explore. Interesting first game of a small studio nonetheless, maybe wait for a sale as it's pretty short. Still will look forward to their future games, they have good potential.
I really REALLY liked Inmost. I liked the demo they released in a past festival, but the full game was even better. It had an interestingly told story that I won't spoil here, which I was not really expecting (I thought it was more "just" a puzzle plateformer), a beautiful pixelart design and a great soundtrack. Definitely a recommendation for this one if you like puzzle plateformer gameplay in a beautiful package.
Well this one was a very short, and free, end of the month addition and completion. I always had been a bit curious about this series of games while keeping myself away from being spoiled somehow so that was intriguing. It's a weird but interesting short puzzle/escape room kind of game and I overall liked it. Of course it's short so don't expect too much but give it a try. I'll have to look into the rest of the series.
Whoa. How do you make your posts look so nice?
Just a bit of code and a bit of time, but thanks for the compliment.
Octopus is innocent of this crime.
Strongly doubt that statement. It’s a little like when the cat says he’s innocent.
What have you been playing lately, any addictive stuff?
I went back to X3. Space tycoon simulator is still nice to play and highly addictive :D.
Ah! 4x games are another category full of addictive games, indeed!
Cat is innocent of this crime.
That is not what the octopus say. Also cats are never innocent.
Wow racism
I have Inmost in my wishlist, you are only furthering my interest : D. I really like most of your comments, I grew to trust your opinion :D. What do you think about Littlewood and Cozy grove? They are also in my wishlist.
THEY ARE ADDICTIVE. I mean in different ways. Littlewood is very addictive as in I spent 32 hours in it in just over 10 days, and “I promise just one more day and i’ll stop..”. Meanwhile Cozy grove is also addictive but very slow paced as you can only do so much progress each day. I found a good balance in playing it about 45min a day consistently. I like both and recommend both if you like stuff like stardew for littlewood and animal crossing for cozy grove.
(sigh) I wish. After the other Ace Attorney games (except Spirit of Justice and Dai Gyakuten Saiban) it’s back to trying stuff and hoping that I’ll stumble upon something addictive, especially since the lockdown was extended again. I bought Tekken 7, hoping that it will revive my addiction to the series back in the PS1/PS2 days. Nope, this time I couldn’t be bothered to practice for hours everyday. Other than that, it’s mostly just shorter games and demos that are ok, but nothing addictive.
Hey, I thought about you, did you see they announced that Dai Gyakuten Saiban is finally getting ported to PC soon? And unrelated but I was glad you posted some screens while you were trying demos, you got me to try the Unpacking one and I really liked it, so thanks for sharing :3
Yep, I read about it, but I’m not interested because of the setting. Same reason why I didn’t buy Spirit of Justice. Even Edgey being in the game hasn’t convinced me to buy it. :p
Ahah, fair enough!
