Want to play an HOG but don’t want some strange story attached? Try Pickers.
No mysteries, no monsters or anything of that sort. All you have to do is go to various places and look for valuable items to re-sell to earn some money.
Every location has two main areas and 4-5 semi-hidden small ones. You can move between the main areas and zoom in those smaller ones. Everywhere is full of stuff, ranging from very common, cheap scraps to harder to find (if not unique) pieces who’ll sell well and will make you rich.
Every day there will be a most wanted category, each item from that category will have an higher probability of being sold. Choose what seems more valuable to you and then try to get it for a reasonable price from their respective owner.
Every location also has an optional classic HOG scene where you have to find the listed items. Come back in different days and you’ll eventually empty that scene.
It took me 12-15 in-game days to fully understand how the game works but, thanks to some really valuable objects, everything ended well. :)

There’s a “Zen” difficulty, if you think you won’t be able to do good in selling stuff (other difficulty levels require you to be the top seller after 30 days but, strangely, there isn’t an achievement for that).

Missed two achievements: one ‘cause I needed to use the scanner a couple of times, given that game is english and I couldn’t understand what kind of object I was supposed to find (scanner gives you the shape of the item you’re looking for. there also an hint system which I believe it tells you the exact location of the item but I didn’t need it) and another one ‘cause I accidentally sold something without restoring it. Don’t know if I’m ever going to play it again just for these two achievements..

If you like HOGs, I say give this a try, it will be a nice change from what you’re used to :)

Steam overlay didn’t work with this game so I had to use an external program. Luckily it wasn’t a fast-paced game :)
