One of the positive things Covid caused is that I have met a lot of new people that love to play games as much as I do ^_^ mostly because Among Us brought us all together. My backlog tho isn’t happy about it, as I bought more new Co-op games than finishthe ones I already owned before and hence missed my report for October. Being back on assassination now!
Hope you all can enjoy nice Christmas vibes despite the situation ♪
Smile For Me
The game looks really weird but I was curious about it bc of all these positives reviews and they didn't disappoint me. It's a great game which should be known by a lot more players! Sometimes I still wake up to the sound of it in my head and the urge to help these characters out one more time :v
In Smile For Me you live in an institution that specialized itself in helping it's residents find their smile again. All of the characters have lost their smile and live unhappily and this institute isn't helping them either. So you come in play and help all those in need. The game has a positive atmosphere while you look around, trying to find out how to help them while bit by bit there's also it a strange, unpleasant feeling that there might be more to it ♪
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope
After Man of Medan was a medicore game, my hopes also weren't high with this one. But I was totally wrong as this game truly was something!
I bought it on Day 1 but managed to keep everyone alive just a few days ago which is because we played it Co-op and then we played it with the Movie Night mode and apparently my friends really suck at QTE x'D Nevertheless I have to admit that it's the Coop mode that makes the game shine. It's not flawless, but playing at the same time though seeing different scenes was so much cool and a very good reason to play the game again but switch characters. As well as Solomode or Movie Night mode which also let you see different scenes you haven't seen in Coop.
While playing the game with friends definitely makes it better it's still not a bad game to play alone! The story is thrilling and the characters all have their somethings that keep them interesting. Also: less bugs than in Man of Medan. Bugs yes, but less!
Still trying to get every achievement =3=
