Backlog Assassination : October 2020

October, like every single years, has been a really bad month with so many bad news that coping up has been problematic. I have been spending most part of October making calls and trying to set things right for all the requests and administrative errors other people made, leaving me with $5 on my account right on the first week which absolutely destroyed my moral, added to both my cats falling sick.
Fortunately, friends were there to support me and there is always roleplay and gaming right ?

ANYWAY !

Best Of This Month

  • Bright Paw : Certainly one of the best games I ever played. I already made 3 full playthroughs, one streamed for a few friends. I can’t decide what is the best in that gem. Is it the story ? The music ? The voice acting ? The puzzles of events you have to put together to understand how and what happened ?
Thankfully, it’s not necessary to pick only one of those qualities, instead you get the whole package and ride on Theo Express to discover how a simple quest becomes a journey through the past, present and future of a whole family.

I can’t believe I only played 4 games from the ones I planned ^^” .

November should be better, administration is aware of their mistakes, we’re thinking of a plan for an help I requested and have been refused for the stupidest reason and my Roomba is back home, doesn’t seem much, but after 5 months fighting to get it repaired, it’s a victory.

Thanks for the update! And particularly for the reviews of Apocalipsis and Bright Paw. I own the former (but not the DLC) and just wishlisted the latter based on your review and recommendation. I’ll be interested to hear what you think of Syberia (since it’s such and “oldie but a goodie”) and Four Last Things (because it’s on my wishlist).

I hope you have a wonderful month! =)

I played “Apocalipsis” DLC since then and it’s really really short, buy it on sale.
“Bright Paw” is just amazing, from beginning to the end, I event ended up discuss with the voice actor who is super kind :) .
I began to play “Syberia” and it was released at the time I didn’t have video games and it reminds me that I do know the “modern” point and click but get lost with some old like this one.
I also began “Four Last Things,” it’s pretty funny, it’s like modern Monty Python meets Point & Click.
