June 2019 report
A great month for gaming !
Here are the games I played this month. Overall it was a great month, with really incredible games played.
I got Lego Worlds game for free, to play with my son, and we love it, even if we don't really understand what we are supposed to do...
During Steam sale, I bought Dark Souls Remastered for 4€, and started to play it. I never really played a DS game before but it's time to try !
I also bought BL2 Handsome collection and Euro Truck Simulator Map Bundle to play it in VR, and it's great.
And finally I managed to complete 2 games: Glass Masquerade and Epistory.

Borderlands 2

LEGO® Worlds
5.7 hours, 17 of 71 achievements
about 5 hours this month
Great little game, it's beautiful and relaxing, but it gets really repetitive soon as it's always the same thing to do.
I spent a great time playing this one. The gameplay is unique and refreshing, it's hard sometimes but never impossible. The world, made from paper that unfold as we progress, is beautiful and the art is awesome. A little gem !

Nice progress! I also got the handsome collection (mostly for the pre sequel season pass) because it was so cheap, but was feeling meh about replaying Borderlands 2 (had it on the xbox 360). In the end, I’m replaying it full coop with the GF and I had forgotten how fun it can be. Good luck with Dark souls, you’re braver than me. Oh and you may wanna have a look at Glass Masquerade 2, I thought it was an improvement on the first formula. They added a harder mode that made the whole puzzling more interesting.
How is Lego Worlds btw? (Content wise and compared to other Lego games)
I started a new game too on BL2 with the new DLC, but I play alone and I feel a bit bored with the game, I don’t know why.
For Dark Souls, I only played around 2 hours, it’s hard but really interesting. I’m not sure I’ll finish it one day, but for 4€ I can at least try it :)
I’m not sure I want to play Glass Masquerade 2 as I really forced myself to finish all the puzzles of the 1st one… Perhaps in a year.
Lego World is reallt different from other Lego games as you don’t follow a story, but you jump from world to world, each one with unique theme, and you have to do complete some easy quests for NPC to get gold bricks, which unlocks new worlds (I think, this part is not clear…). You have various tools to create what you want: copy tool, color tool, construct tool, etc… As you progress, you unlock new bricks and constructions you can use when you want.
You can also play in sandbox mode to just construct what you want and have fun.
I think it’s because Borderlands games are only fun played in good company. I had the memories of finishing Borderlands 2 solo on the xbox (I had played a large part of it with a friend in coop but then finished it alone) and it had stuck to me as being kinda boring.
And thanks for the minireview of the Lego game. I might pick it up next time it gets bundled or highly discounted :)
