I am done with all the books I got with me and I have finally completed a game :D Other than that I am still doing a slow but steady progress with these 2 games

Cooking Academy Fire and Knives

Cooking Academy Fire and Knives - There are 3 games in this pack: Cooking Academy 1, 2 and 3. Thats why my complete playtime is only 3 minutes as each game launches separately from the launcher. The real playtime is around 10 hours. I have completed the first 2 fully but very near the end of the 3rd one my game crashed and erased all my progress. I can not be arsed to redo the whole thing so I will just cheat a little, call it a day and mark it as completed anyways. I have played 1 and 2 a decade or so ago off Steam already, never played the 3d before. They are all very very similar, causal and easy games where you follow a bunch of different recipes and cook some food. Some of the them repeat during the series. Only issue (except the crash) I had with the 2nd one where I had some pretty bad artifacting, but that probably more a fault of the fact that I was playing it in Wine on Linux that anything else (had the same exact problem with many many Unity games before).

The Treasures of Montezuma 4 - Completed in June 2015. Very decent match 3 game. I don’t recall having any problems with it.
Unium - Completed in July 2015. I don’t remember a damn thing about this game except that somewhere near the end I got frustrated with it and finished it with a walkthrough.
12 Labours of Hercules, 12 Labours of Hercules II: The Cretan Bull, 12 Labours of Hercules III: Girl Power - All completed in August 2015. I have played some of them of Steam before, but when I saw them on Steam I had to get them. They are my favorite series of “clear the road” kinda games is there an actual term for these? to the point that I judge every other game that I play in same genre based on the comparison to them. I have played all but the 7th one so far which I need to get my hands on soon.
I just finished 12 labours of hercules this weekend. Certainly a fun little distraction, albeit a bit repetitive by the end. I think they would be classified as ‘time management’ games? Where you have to be efficient in how you balance things between getting the resources you need and clearing the path.
Yea you are right, I wondered if there is maybe a even more specific genre, but from the little digging I did online it is just classified as “time management”.
