aka. The backlog is lava
Busy and stressful month IRL, so not much has been done except games that can keep my brain distracted. Hence a lot of roguelikes and a lot of Terraria. Also, there were too many good bundles recently and coupled with the sales… my backlog got fed way too many games. I hope you’re all doing ok and staying fresh and safe.

The devs added some content so I revisited Hidden Folks. I loved the new music related levels, still strongly recommend this game. Note that now all the DLC content is included in the base game.
A great addictive deckbuilding roguelike. A bit similar to Slay the Spire, but different enough to make it very addictive on its own merit. Bought it during the summer sale and put quite a lot of time in it this month. Will definitely play some more in the future.
If you haven't heard about this Devolver promotional game, I recommend you give it a try. It's free on steam and it's fun to play and well thought for an alternative to presenting their new and upcoming stuff since all the conventions this year were cancelled. I hope more publisher would do something like that.
Another great roguelike I got during the sale, the latest Early Access from Klei arrived to Steam. It's already really good and enjoyable as it is, even though it's still worked on. A lot of story and choices to make, deckbuilding combat and "negociation" and overall great style. What more can I say except that it's really good.
Yet another roguelike from last year that I've been playing on and off in the past months and I finally manage to beat. I love the very minimalistic art style, the deckbuilding mecanics and the progression system. It's also interesting that the theme of this game is about a little girl's inner struggle with mental illness, which is original enough in those kind of games to be noted. Another recommended game.

I’m mildly interested in Outer Wilds, so will be hoping you play it soon and review it, haha - hope you enjoy the games you got! :)

I’m aiming to try to play it this month since it fits the monthly theme, but with IRL being a mess right now i can’t promise. Hopefully I report on it in the next report ;)
ooh, I had missed that they “fused” DLCs into Hidden Folks.. gotta play those new levels, thanks! ^_^
You’re in for a treat if you hadn’t played the previous DLC content, it was pretty good! Have fun :)
