My Aim For February 2017
This is my second monthly post as a backlog assassin extraordinaire.
The following is a list of games that I aim to complete, beat or at least play a few hours of by February 28th 2017:
-
BioShock Infinite
-
Dishonored
-
LEGO Batman: The Videogame
-
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition
-
Papo & Yo
-
The Turing Test
-
Turmoil
-
Urban Empire
-
We Happy Few
-
Game for February's Theme</a>
Last month I chose far too many games to try to complete in the space of one month. It seems that I overestimated the time I had available and my level of dedication. I did manage to clear some of the games off of my backlog however so I’m happy about that.
Update on My Aim For January 2017:
-
Ahnayro: The Dream World
-
Antichamber
-
Between Me and The Night
-
BioShock Infinite
-
Bully: Scholarship Edition
-
Hitman
-
Mirror's Edge
-
Near Death
-
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition
-
Shelter 2
-
The Flame in the Flood
-
The Walking Dead
-
The Walking Dead: Season Two
-
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
-
The Wolf Among Us
Suggestions about which game I should play first are welcome!
I will create a new list at the end of January 2017 outlining my progress and aim for February.
A really nice list of games you got there \o/
Is even hard to choose just one to suggest :o let’s see… Did you play the previous Bioshock games? If so, I suggest you to play Bioshock… It is one of my favorite games (damn, ok, I have a lot of favorite games :p), but in case you didn’t play them, I really suggest you to play Dishonored, an amazing game, full of replay value, a great story and gameplay, characters… omg, the game is incredible :3
Good luck with your games :D
Thanks! I’ll keep that in mind and will probably attempt Dishonored second. :)
Congrats on your january progress first of all! Are you dropping the ones that are unfinished or are they moving along to february?
We happy few is still in EA from what I’ve read, so maybe you want to delay that one. Most of your list seems really good though so it’s hard to pick one. Maybe as Fnord said, Papo & yo because it’s shorter? If you have a bit more time for a longer game I’d say Dishonored or Bioshock infinite, I really loved both.
I will not abandon the games I didn’t manage to finish in January and plan to take another crack at them soon (March-April). I’m just going to attempt fewer games in future months. Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll definitely start with either Papo & Yo or Dishonored. :)
Whenever you want to take a break from a longer game, Shelter 2 is a relaxing change of pace. You can beat in about 2 hours, so it doesn’t distract you too long from those other games. :) Really good games in your plan, have fun!
Papo & Yo is quite short, and really good. You should try to find space for that one somewhere.
Ori & the blind forest is excellent, and has a moderate length. Well worth playing
Thanks for the suggestion Fnord, I’ll keep that in mind. :)
