Backlog Assassination : January 2021
January is now behind us and we can all admit that it kinda have a bit of 2020 after taste, but instead of ranting regarding the situation, let’s speak of something positive. Because I consider the official news as being terrifying and stress inducing, I’m instead subscribed to good news websites to receive their daily newsletters. In one of them, they spoke of the now famous “Bernie Sanders Mittens” Memes and how Sanders added the image to a line of merchandise on his website, with all proceeds benefitting Vermont-based charities, which received $1.8 thanks to the sell.
ANYWAY
Since January is the month of taking decisions for the rest of the year, I encourage you to surround yourself by positivity. You’ll always have someone reminding you how the world is currently burning, but rarely hear or read on media how a whole group or researchers went to find an elusive species of chameleon which was lost over a hundred of years ago and how the group looked in every corners of Madagascar and was ready to give up until they finally found what they were looking for, not in a forest, but in the unkempt garden of an hotel nearby theirs.

- Haven : I was waiting for that game since it was first announced and am currently playing it together with my best friend and man, it’s such a good game. There is a story that you can enjoy, you can spend time going on every islets to discover secrets, but most of all, the relationship feels true, they had the genius idea to have the voice actors together in the same room to answer to each other rather than having to say their line isolated in a dark room and it changes everything.
If you and your significant other are trying to find a game to play together, give Haven a chance, you can even pick the character you want to play and select their answer separately as like for VN, there are choices, even though those won’t change the whole story, but rather make your character more or less confident.
And if you’re alone ? No problem, you can control the two characters at the same time in battles and the rest of time the second character is following you. Don’t hesitate, it’s a gem ♥ !
