The Turing Test
Last month I looked through my list of abandoned games I didn't want to play and found some I wanted to give another chance. The Turing Test was one of those and I truly question my past-self. Why did I abandon this game? Not only it is rather short and was finished with all achievements within less than 5 hours, the puzzles also were fun; some of them were harder than others but all were logical and quite managable with a bit of thinking without your head exploding. Storywise the game didn't shine; it was interesting to see in which kind of direction the game wants to go; was the AI now able to feel human emotions or was it just programmed to seem like, but it lacks on really grapping on to this topic with the ending being complete garbage. Lucky for me I started to not care for the story anymore about halfway through and only focused on the puzzles which were as already said fun to solve.
Zwei – The Ilvard Insurrection
Amazing game and a special gem! Zwei is that kind of JRPG I missed these days, it had more of an oldschool feeling throughout, being a bit childish without being a game particular for children. Absolutely fell in love with the gameplay and grew addicted to it; loved to crawl through the dungeons and to master them without getting hit and looking for chests. The leveling system also is very different from what one's used to; instead of gaining exp when killing monsters one gains exp when consuming healing items. Which basically prevents overlevelling but rather only provides a level up when necessary. The story and the characters were pretty cheesy at times and it could go a bit over the top for my taste; there was also a lot to read and by that I mean a lot! Even NPCs you don't have to talk to have some quite amount of text boxes, but this also falls to the flair of oldschool RPGs. It was also very funny with it's features like a weighing scale with the description „Discover the dark secret of how fatty RPG food really is.“ and the two main characters really get fat when eating too much food in a short amount of time :'D Loved this goofiness. The only real pain in the ass was one single achievement which I somehow overlooked when first looking through the list but which requires to talk to specific characters at specific times; sometimes that quickly missable that you only go two steps further and you missed the speach. Had to play through the game twice to get them all and even then I forgot one single character speach, so had to start it a third time which was a bit annoying, especially because the game isn't offering much of a replay value. Still highly recommended overall! And will absolutely check out the other games from this developer. I need more games like this gem!

I might go and download Big Pharma again. How’s your experience of it so far?
Did previously mark it as abandoned too and just picked it up again, but once getting used to it it’s like every other management game as well; made me addicted at first & after a few levels motivation is suddennly lacking :’) how was your experience with it?
I played it a while back for around 12 hours and did all of the first set of challenges, but then got bored because it felt repetitive. I don’t play management games much, so it might be a nice change of pace every once in a while- also I’ll need to play more to consider it ‘beaten’ so I should probably give it another shot.
yes, feel you with this :’) The levels are rather short and to start over again and again can feel very repetitive without introducing something really new. Imo better to make breaks inbetween and picking it up again later when in mood bc it’s by far a bad game and deserves better than ‘torturing yourself through’.
