Evolve
Hey there! I did’t update for almost a year… Didn’t have time for that but i continued my fight, even though not very successfully… Anyway i lost my job so now i have some free time… let’s go! It took me several hours to compile that post :D
A dungeon builder and a pretty decent one, better than the first game that's for sure and better than anything that EA would do with their Dungeon Keeper license. Kind of repetitive but fun enough.
A better "Dungeon Keeper" than EA would ever make.

A p'n'c adventure at it's finest! A fourth and final game of the TRILOGY... wait what... yeah... it's an unexpected finale that community deserved ;) I liked it as much as other Deponia games and i strongly recommend to play them all!
A fourth game in the TRILOGY! And just as good as others!

A cute survival game. The area (the whole world?) is flooded and you travel on a raft from one dock to another to gather resources to survive and eventually get to your goal. At first i liked it very much but then it got repetitive and boring very quickly and it dragged on and on... sigh.
A cute survival game, gets boring really quickly.

A nice solitaire game to waste some time. Nothing to write home really, also it's pretty much exactly the same as non-remastered version.

FPS. I don't like FPS games but play them occasionally for a change. Shooting was boring, horror was meh, story was there... Also since when only the second game is not available in Russia?
Unimpressive in every way.

A pretty fun short choose your adventure? game about a plane crash. Your choices matter and you need to replay it to witness all the different outcomes of your decisions.
Short, nice and cheap on a sale so why not?

A gladiator manager sim? Not too deep but quite fun and short enough to not get too repetitive. Achievements are a pain in the ass as some of them require very rare random events.
It's the best (only) gladiator manager sim i know about!

A very short walking sim. I guess it's OK, pretty bland and short but not bad.
A very short and dirt cheap walking sim, it's decent.

A very fun roguelike card game with action parts to balance out the rng! Can't praise it more than people already did so, yeah, i definitely recommend it!
It's great!
It's great!
A nice p'n'c game about an aspiring magician with some mystery investigation going on. It's well made and i liked it even though i got stuck at a couple of "where the hell do i need to click to progress!?" parts... the usual.
A well made p'n'c with an occasional magic trick here and there.

A good escape the room game! I liked the puzzles and overall design.
Give it a try if you're into the "escape the room" thing!

A quite fun wild west shootout puzzle game, i liked it, yeah.
Again a dirt cheap game, had some fun with it.

A first person puzzle game with great visuals! Can't remember anything remarkable about it so... yeah.
It's pretty...
It's pretty...
A 1 hour long first person puzzle game, not bad but nothing special.
Nothing special.
Nothing special.
A sub-1-hour walking sim and it's "meh".
Meh.
Meh.
A great hack'n'slash action game! It took me 3 months to complete as i had barely any free time back then but it was worth it! In the end i liked the first game slightly more and i like the Darksiders games more than God of War 1-3.
One of the best games in this genre!
One of the best games in this genre!
P'n'c with anthropomorphic animals acting as 19th century people... mostly... and i quite liked it! You're a birdman attorney who gets involved in all kinds of lawyer jobs, lots of bird puns included, what more could you ask for?
The ultimate attorney experience!
The ultimate attorney experience!
It's kind of a walking sim... i think. You're someone on a far away station and you need to fix it through gathering resources with a drone while avoiding enemies... something like that. It's very short and i somewhat liked the narrative.
Very short, very cheap, very OK-ish.
Very short, very cheap, very OK-ish.
A walking sim... a bad one. Very short, very boring, more like a students best try in game dev. Nothing significant to see, nothing significant to do, nothing significant to think about.
Boring.
Boring.
A good roguelite. Riding around the wasteland as a "mad max" style convoy, gathering resources and kicking asses! Very repetitive and some achievements require literally tons of luck -_-
Mad Max style convoy but very repetitive.
Mad Max style convoy but very repetitive.
A metroidvania platformer. Usually i avoid platformers but somehow i completed this one even though it was very annoying at times, i think it means something, i don't know what but something.
Not bad... for a platformer.
Not bad... for a platformer.
A very good walking sim for a change! A plane crash on a frozen island! You need to find your wife before it's too late! Very nice visually, all sorts of locations and narrative is pretty good.
A good walking sim!
A good walking sim!
An average walking sim. Nothing to really talk about except the verse by Brodskiy in the end, for some reason it got me.
It's fine i guess.
It's fine i guess.
Oh it's GTA alright, well kind of standalone dlc for it... The Lost and Damned is played as a motorbike gang member, it was quite annoying cause bikes aren't very enjoyable in this game. The Ballad of Gay Tony is played as right hand of nightclubs owner who's decisions are questionable at best, it was more fun.
More GTA for you.
More GTA for you.
A good puzzle-ish platformer. Played it with a friend and it took us EXACTLY a year to finish!
Great fun in co-op!
Great fun in co-op!
Exploration RPG with a HUGELY awesome world, lore, atmosphere and overall writing! Don't want to spoil anything, you traverse the world on a steam centipede meeting all kinds of people and events, the narrative is gloom and somewhat Lovecraftian. The gameplay itself is pretty dull but i didn't notice it under all that gorgeous pile of text! Sadly i can't complete it as one of the achievements is broken for quite a while now...
The best game i played this year, easily!

A city building game, reminds me of Caesar 3 but weaker. It's OK.
It's OK.
It's OK.
A mediocre RPG but for some reason i couldn't stop playing, even when i got into unwinnable situation in the end when i couldn't get enough resources to win the game and had to reload a save.
Mediocre at best but somehow it got me to finish it.

A survival RPG...? You lead a group of survivors in a postapocalyptic world, gathering, fighting, questing. Not bad but not very memorable, i liked the combat system though.
A good game but now i compare it to AHOMD and it can't stand a chance -_-

A third person survival action game. Kill zombies and craft things, nothing new but it's not bad.
Not bad.
Not bad.
A wonky physics game made to induce rage because your character is more of a jelly fish than a human being.
Frustration.
Frustration.
A "diablolike" game, the combat is very clunky and stiff but artists and writers made it a decent game. Some "facebook style minigames" included in the second half of the game. The game drags on and on and on so by the end i felt exhausted and instead of joy of victory all i felt is "oh finally i can delete and forget it". And i played Diablo 2 for hundreds of hours and still enjoy it from time to time... so..
Clunky and exhausting.
Clunky and exhausting.
”"”Yay””””, out of work pals! I hope your next job is better and more rewarding than the previous one. Good on you for knuckling down and compiling a whole year in one post!
Thanks, i hope so too…
