First week of December progress
God, it is December already :/ This week there is sadly not as much progress as the past 2 ones due to me first being sick and then working on Pixel Puzzles Ultimate
While I haven’t actually finished the whole thing, I have finally finished every single paid DLC I got gifted last Christmas (over 15 in total). Apparently there is more of them coming at me this Christmas, but till then I got a handful more kiosk puzzles to finish. Currently working on a 840 piece gray and white only one and a 1410 brown only one. Wish me luck.

Completed SG wins
Hide and Secret Treasure of the Ages - 10 year old HOG. I have to say I very much prefer the new ones. This one only has hidden object scenes with a comic style story between some of them. I wouldn’t mind that all that much if the items you are supposed to be searching for wouldn’t be mostly the same over and over again. Additionally, it doesn’t play well with Wine - fullscreened or not the bottom part gets hidden under the taskbar which makes finding object hard sometimes. This is fullscreen apparently:
Other completed games
-
Alice's Patchworks 2
-
Glass Masquerade
-
Zenge
-
The Secret Order 4: Beyond Time
-
The Secret Order 5: The Buried Kingdom
Alice's Patchworks 2 - Exact same game as the previous one I have played a few weeks ago, it even has the same achievement misspelled (the mosaics are obviously different). But honestly I am completely fine with it tho they could have fixed the miss spelling and my thoughts on the game are the also exact same as the previous one.
Glass Masquerade - Big thanks to Jeffhowe who gave me the key for it. This game has been on the top of my wishlist for the past year and now that I finally played it I can say that it was everything I was hopping it would be. It is similar to Alice Patchworks but harder and the clock mosaics are absolutely beautiful. The downside is that it only has 25 levels compared to the 120 Alice has. Since every clock it is themed after a different country I would love it if there was a sequel where every single country in the world was featured.
Zenge - Quite simple puzzle game where you have to move pieces around till they are all in a certain position. I expected it to be harder but overall wasn’t a bad game. I have to wonder what genious came with the idea to call the company that published it “Hamster On Coke Games”.
The Secret Order 4: Beyond Time - Mouse played another Artifex Mundi game? No waaaay. From what I can tell my library is huge, I might have overlooked some I only got the 5th one from the series left and then I am out of Artifex Mundi HOGs :( The horror, I know.
The Secret Order 5: The Buried Kingdom - this was written a day after the one above Ok, out of Artifex Mundi HOGs now :( pls send help
Did Glass Masquerade take 4 hours of gameplay or does that include idled hours? I was wondering if I should check it out but I’d do it only if it was pretty short to complete >_>
too much beer or not enough? :p
I got distracted a lot while playing and I was playing on a really laggy laptop with a low resolution for a while (without realizing) and couldn’t see shit. I would say a more realistic time would be 2 1/2 - 3 hours (maybe 3 1/2 if you are really slow).
Neither, not enough tea :P
