I’ve been spamming a lot over the past month. Just had a little bit more time to play than I normally do and I’ve been enjoying that extra game time.
This is a big one for me. A gift from a friend and an iconic game in general. I’ve been playing it on and off for a few months now. For someone who has never played it before it was a challenge. It is really hard to play this game without a guide unless you have much more time than I do. You can easily get lost or confused.
This game is almost 20 years old and since there was no nostalgia involved here, putting 40 hours into it required a certain amount of dedication. I am happy that I didn’t give up. Beating FF VII felt tremendously satisfying.
According to Steam stats less than 7% reached the ending. I wonder why. Well… I am one of them :) I am missing a bunch of achievements that require some major grinding but I am moving on to other games.
An old SG win, one of my first ones. This game surprised me. It certainly doesn’t look pretty but it is a very good math puzzle. Simple but incredibly challenging. There are no solutions or hints available. Numbers are randomly generated every time you start a puzzle.
I finished the “main story” and consider this game beaten. I had to give up on extra “hardcore” puzzles. Those are exponentially harder. Impossible to solve without some hardcore calculations. Some people spent days solving a single puzzle. You cannot save your progress either. Ehh… no, thank you :)
This is a fun one. It falls under “it’s so bad it’s good” category. An interactive movie with quick time events. Certainly worth a few laughs.
Everyone’s been playing it recently and since it is only about an hour long I decided to scratch it off my list. Very nice puzzle indeed. Not difficult so it goes well with “Relax” theme.
My recent SG win. Very pretty looking platformer. I liked it but it felt like half a game to be honest. A bit lazy on Sega’s part. There are essentially just 5 levels, each split into 2 parts and a boss fight. Even though it’s short, I still recommend playing it if you like platformers.
PS: I’ve also completed 2 free-to-play games: a puzzle (~20 minutes) and a VN (less than 1 hr if you actually read everything). Both were good.
Congratulations on completing FF7. I hope you had the patience to watch the credits roll for a nice scene.
I ragequit on my first playthrough due to getting attached to one of the characters and I just finished it last year.
Oh, yes. I always wait until the end of the credits :D These took forever to roll but it wasn’t surprising.
I’m surprised FF7 only took you 42 hours! The way people speak of the games makes it sound like they go on for hundreds. Grats!
I heavily relied on a guide and I concentrated on the main story (only did a couple of side quests). I guess the game takes about 60 hours on average and can take much more if you want to get 100% since you have to max your characters and learn every skill, find and master every materia, earn max money, etc. which is a bit crazy in my book.
Nice.. hook only takes an hour? .. so i just decided to give it a try.. 50minutes and 50 levels later.. i am done.. one more game completed.. thanks dk.
Also
I download those 2 free to play game.. so i can finish them quickly and add another 2 100% complete game under my belt ;b
Yeah, I actually wish Hook had more levels. It’s a nice puzzle but completing a game and getting 100% achievements feels so nice :D
Here is another easy 100% free to play game that takes less than an hour to complete: http://store.steampowered.com/app/468530
