Backlog Rehab Day One

Played a little more of GD and beat the first boss on ultimate. Still, need to clear out a section of the map in the first area. Respect’d some of my stats to go more in line with my pet build on my conjurer. I about level 75 so still a ways to go for 100. Not much else with this game at the moment.

Misc. PC gaming news updates…

I finally played some World War Z and I loved it. Reminds me so much of Left 4 Dead. There are 5 classes to choose from and level up with perks to unlock to improve your game, a bunch of weapons that can be leveled up and improved, a co-op campaign, and regular multiplayer. I only played the co-op part so far which is broken up into 4 levels with I think was 3 chapters each. I finished the first level and two chapters from the second. It was really fun to play and look forward to more.

I tried out the Heavy Rain demo which was released on the Epic store. I played the game back on the PS3 when it launched but I wanted to see how it ran on PC and the demo was smooth and looked pretty good. I ran it with max settings and never dropped below 60fps. I have a Ryzen 2600x, 16gb DDR4 3200 ram, and a GTX 1080. I’ve been itching to pre-order this and Beyond: Two Souls since with the Epic sale they are only $10 a piece. Also thought about picking up Ashen cause it looks really cool but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I really shouldn’t because my backlog is big enough as is.

PS4 gaming news updates…

I tried out Dauntless and have had some fun with it. It got me to reinstall Monster Hunter and give it another try to see if I could get into it. I actually started a new character and went with dual blades to see how I felt and I liked it a lot better. A couple of other friends have it and they were looking to get back into it because of the new expansion coming later this year. I should have enough time to get caught up and ready to go by the time the expansion launches.

Days Gone is still unfinished but I feel I am close. The final area is almost fully uncovered but I still have like 9 missions at least showing left for the camp. It’s been a great time and I do plan on earning the platinum for this game. Shouldn’t be too hard anyways so why not. If you have a PS4 I feel it’s a great game to check out sometime if you ever get a chance.
