Winter 2023
A neat tactical RPG with a steamlined gameplay. The characters are very funny and the story serves the gameplay very well. I didn't find the game particularly difficult but the end was a tight victory.
Not as nice as Night Shift, it still manages to tell a nice story. I've only played it once so I can't tell if the choices matter than much but it still was time well spent.
I really don't know why I enjoy VNs that much. I guess it's the slow pace and the anime style. Anyway, this one is a good one. It's very emotional but mostly caters for teens and young adults.
Another FMV for this month (though I played this one first). Taking place during the COVID-19 lockdown, it was a nice experiment. Since I'm married, I haven't dated in forever but it was still nice to pretend.
Last entry in the series, I felt it was better than the previous ones. It's a very straightforware HOG and the story will keep you entertained for a while. Easy to complete.
Not a particularly good racing game, it still kept me going until I had got first place on every race. I follows the mobile game model and the performance is questionble but I don't regret spending 30 hours on it.
Good to hear about you! Congrats on the progress and good luck for your next quarter ;)
Thanks. While I post less often now, I still regularly lurk about. It’s entertaining (and sometimes inspiring) to read about other people’s progress.
How do you like Ring Fit Adventure? I have it, started it and then.. well forgot about it again… wondering if I should try again :)
I absolutely love it! For the first time, I’ve found a way of working out that I manage to stick to. I usually play it for about an hour twice a week and over the past few months (I didn’t play it regularly before that) it has made a nice difference. I feel more energetic, I sleep better and, as a side effect, I eat more healthily to keep the benefits. What more could I want?
Yeah, Apotheon really sucked; I don’t blame you for giving up on that one. Honestly, that game was one of the main reasons I stopped buying games at all.
I was attracted by the visuals but the combat is terrible and since fighting is 90% of the gameplay, it quickly stopped being fun.
