December’s Recap
A Normal Lost Phone
1.0 hours, 13 of 13 achievements
Interesting short game experience, I finished the game in about 25 mins, the remaining playtime was to obtain the remaining cards. No re-playability whatsoever but good overall.
How to Say Goodbye
2.3 hours, 7 of 7 achievements
Good puzzle game about dealing with grief. Moderately short but I loved the style and puzzle mechanics, even though I sometimes had problems in controlling some movements.
Frog Detective 1: The Haunted Island
0.5 hours, 6 of 6 achievements
A really short silly game with funny dialogues. Really nice little game.
Monument Valley 2
1.7 hours, 16 of 16 achievements
After completing first chapter last month I was expecting the sequel to not be able to reach it, but I was wrong. I really liked the new puzzles and still love the artistic part of this games.
Rental
0.4 hours, 9 of 9 achievements
I really loved Rental, a short free-to-play cute but also creepy little indie game. Absolutely recommended.
Venba
3.5 hours, 15 of 15 achievements
Short narrative game, not really much gameplay outside the cooking, Venba tells an emotional story about immigration, growth, memories and love.
Isle of Jura
3.9 hours, 3 of 3 achievements
Game won on SG, it's a short cozy fishing game, nothing more to add.
Hoa
6.3 hours, 18 of 18 achievements
I really liked Hoa, cute platformer Ghibli-inspired, with a straightforward not deep story, absolutely no combat, just pure relaxing vibe.
Ending with progression tracker for future comparison.
First post on BLAEO, since I have been here only since the start of November. These are the games I beat or completed in November.
Sable
25.0 hours, 56 of 56 achievements
Sable is without a doubt the best game I played in November, really good exploration game, liked really everything about it from the narrative to the soundtrack but loved especially the visual style.
What Remains of Edith Finch
4.8 hours, 9 of 9 achievements
I loved this walking sim where you explore Finch's family stories, really good emotional story.
Monument Valley
3.3 hours, 19 of 19 achievements
I remember playing this on my iPhone almost 10 years ago, I still loved replaying it all with the added levels, the best puzzle game I ever played imo.
Press Any Button
1.2 hours, 5 of 5 achievements
Really nice short game experience, arcade game, even challenging in some parts with a nice fourth wall breaking emotional narrative.
Aka
8.8 hours, 16 of 16 achievements
Nice game experience, life simulator of this red panda in his post-war life, other then some clunky things and some bugs I overall liked this game.
Unpacking
7.0 hours, 25 of 25 achievements
Puzzle game about pulling things out of boxes and putting everything in order, really chill, you experience the story while you are pulling out some objects.
The Suicide of Rachel Foster
6.6 hours, 11 of 11 achievements
Didn't really like the story, but good sound design, atmosphere and gameplay.
Citizen Sleeper
13.6 hours, 21 of 27 achievements
Exceptional TTRPG with some survival aspects, the story really got me, but I also really got caught by the beautiful soundtrack. Looking forward to the sequel, coming out soon.
GRIS
6.1 hours, 7 of 17 achievements
Stunning visuals, good soundtrack and a deep emotional story. Absolutely recommended game experience.
Sayonara Wild Hearts
5.9 hours, 4 of 24 achievements
I'll start by saying I'm absolutely terrible at rhythm games, but the game was really good, pretty short but some of the songs are really stuck in my head. Also the graphics were crazy.
And that’s it for the games I completed in November. See you next month.
