Still alive, just lurking
It’s been a while since my last update here. I guess it’s time to post again.
In Q1 of 2026, I finished 21 games for the first time and completed 17 (completed games also count as finished here. I did not finish 38 games :p )
This makes this year already close to my best year in terms of completions yet. However, most games are on the shorter side of things, which obviously inflates the number.
One source of motivation was joining PAGYWOSG, which is a lot of fun! Can highly recommend joining the event and the community around it is very welcoming.
Here are some highlights from the last three months:
You find a lost phone and try to figure out what happened to the owner.
It's really fun to solve this "escape room" while experiencing the story.
The sequel is also very good, although it obviously doesn't feel as unique anymore.
Herd some sheep!
Yeah, that is pretty much the whole game.
Highly recommended with 1-3 friends if you want a less stressful overcooked.
Lil Gator Game holds a special place in my heart. It's a cozy and heartful adventure of a kid who just wants to play with their big sister.
Honestly, this is the perfect feelgood game to play on a weekend. And the new DLC delivers more of that, which is great.
Go on a whacky road trip with your friends. Do normal road trip activities like visiting roadside attractions, eating at fancy restaurants, and joining a cult.
The narrative and humour are probably not for everyone, but I highly enjoy it and look forward to playing more of it.
Also great in co-op!
My favourite genre: Cozy yet stressful games :p
You manage the emergency response coordination in your city: send units to incidents, handle calls, and deal with the disasters the game throws at you. Pretty enjoyable although I find it sad that you handle less calls at the end of the campaign. Still great if you also like this genre ^^
My go-to game to play with a friend atm.
Just a lot of fun to sail the open seas and just go on random adventures.
See you again in 6 years 3 months
December Update
After a month hiatus without much progress I return to this site.
December Monthly Theme: Best of
I only started playing games for this theme one week ago. That’s why I didn’t play any long games. I did, however, like what I played
We Were Here is a great co-op f2p game. I played it with a friend in one sitting and it’s amazing. We loved completing it and we plan to play the sequel soon.
Bastion is a game most of you probably already know. It’s supergiants first game and it’s very sweet. I love the narration and the music and the atmosphere they create is amazing.
The Sexy Brutale is an odd one. It’s a timetravel murder story adventure thingy. I adore this game… Trying to save everyone in a groundhogs day style scenario is amazing.
Long-term Projects
These are the games I’ll finish in the (very) distant future.
I played The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth for a long time this month. I’m getting further and further, but the end is not near yet.
Stardew Valley is my favourite game at the moment. I absolutely love playing it and my farm is growing nicely. I will soon finish the bundles (which I consider beating this game), but finishing it will take a while.
Hitman 2 and Euro Truck Simulator 2 are games that I play from time to time and make some progress while I play them. I made some progress in Hitman, but not much in ETS2.
Other
These are the other games I played this month. There is not much to say about them… I gained some achievements, but I didn’t hunt for them.
Pile of Shame aka. New Games
We Were Here is f2p, so I just added it to my account. After playing it I bought We Were Here Too, to play it soon.
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition was a must buy for me. I played the HD version for a very long time. I look forward to playing it with my friends in multiplayer.
Zombie Driver HD was free on steam and it looked nice, so I added it to my account.
2019 reflection
I completed 13 games this year, which is one more than last year. I also finished two long term projects (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Metal Gear Solid V: the Phantom Pain) and I’m very happy with that. I look forward to 2020.
October Update
Hey, this is my second month on tgis site and my first post. I mostly played games I’ve already played and I didn’t finish a single one. (shame on me) My achievment hunting was quite lacking… This should get better in November.
October Monthly Theme: SCREAM
- The Town of Light

3,5 hours playtime
10 of 20 achievements
- Danganronpa 2

33 hours playtime
36 of 47 achievements
- ABZÛ

2,3 hours playtime
9 of 12 achievements
Horror games are not my cup of tea. That’s why I only played one “real” horror game. The Town of Light wasn’t to my liking. Especially in the beginning of the game I just find it boring…
Danganronpa 2 was the other horror game I played, but it’s not what I would call a typical horror game. I absolutely loved it. It was even better than the first game and I already loved that one… I didn’t manage to complete it, but I will definitely try to do so in November (Did I mention that I love this game?)
ABZÛ was my CAPSLOCK game for the theme. It’s a short atmospheric journey and I quite liked it. It has no engaging gameplay whatsoever, but it’s still pretty enjoyable.
I also wanted to play Higurashi When They Cry Hou - Ch.2 Watanagashi, but I sadly didn’t have enough time to play it
Long-term Projects
- Hitman 2

37 hours playtime
36 of 146 achievements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2

131 hours playtime
45 of 75 achievements
- The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

178 hours playtime
341 of 403 achievements
- Stardew Valley

51 hours playtime
17 of 40 achievements
These are the games I’ll finish in the (very) distant future.
I played a lot of Hitman 2 this month. I just boot it up from time to time and finish a challange.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is my chill-out game, but this month I mostly played it to complete the community challange.
I took a break from The Binding of Isaac, but I started playing it again this month. I made some progress, but I still have a lot to do.
I didn’t play a lot of Stardew Valley this month, but I still strive to beat it soon.

I bought Fallout New Vegas after hearing so much praise about obsidians new game. I wanted to try NV for a while and this gave me the push I needed.
Princess Remedy 2: In A Heap of Trouble was free on steam for a limited time and it looked nice.
