Yes, I know. It’s been 4 months since my last update. I’m not really that good with schedules and stuff. D:
But well, I’m still alive, and playing games, and finishing games. Yes. :3/
Also a bunch of filler games but bare with me. >.<

Another clicker/idle game that I've finished. I actually saw this game cuz of a certain platypus/duck/crow called Corvo. (also started playing 2 other clicker game[Realm Grinder, Zombidle] cuz of him. lol) What really catches my eye is its art style. I don't really know why I like it so much, but it's a really cute kinda pixel art style. I just, like it. And the thing I love about this game the most is, you always have something to do. For me, clicker/idle games have 2 types, one is I open up from time to time to check its progress and do some progression, and then I close it and wait. The other is more management intensive, where you have to micromanage a lot of stuff. I usually prefer the first one better. And well, this game is more like the latter, but I actually like it. The reason is that the management part of the game is totally optional and done in a subtle way. You don't need to do them in order to progress, but you get rewarded for doing them, which makes me want to do them.

Another thing is the spinning wheel. I swear it's feeding my gambling addiction. lol Since you technically can get infinite amounts of spins for it, I found myself doing nothing but spinning the wheel for half an hour straight or more.

Overall I really enjoyed the game. There's not a second I don't enjoy when I open it, which is kinda impressive for a clicker/idle game, hence the high score I gave. And I would definitely be playing more once the dev adds new levels. :3

I guess I can put this game on the list, since I technically have finished all of it. The reason this update is so late is cuz I was waiting for this game's finish, since I thought the DLCs won't be long. I was quite wrong. To my surprise, DLC of this game adds quite a lot of story, which is a welcoming thing, as it's good that I don't need to grind for the level achievements as much and have other things to do after the main game finishes.

Ok, let's get to the point. The game itself. It's a good game. I actually played Borderlands 2 before the first one since a friend gifted me 2 before I won this one. And I have to say, this one ages really well! Like, the controls are quite good, graphics wise it doesn't look bad since it's sorta a cartoony art style, and what I found I like this one more than 2 is the navigation bar at the lower screen. After playing a bunch of 1 and going back to 2 to play with a friend, I was really not used to having to look at mini-map to look for enemies. So I gotta say, this is a fantastic game. I like the shooting(love using the sniper rifle! ), I like the looting(I'm such a hoarder, I pick up every gun I can to sell them. ) and I also don't mind the story. Sure, it's kinda half-ass and the characters are not as well developed and polished as the second one, but it doesn't really matter that much for me. Which is exactly the view point of the character we're playing: vault hunter who doesn't really care about how everyone else is and just wants the vault, just like I only cared about shooting, looting and leveling up.

However, yes there's an however. I have no idea why, perhaps it's that I always play the game in large chunks, or the fundamental repetitiveness of shooting and looting, I get tired of the game quite often. The routine usually goes like this: I feel like playing Borderlands again so I open it -> I play for 2~3 days straight -> I get tired of it and stop for a couple of weeks. Rinse and repeat. This is the biggest minus point for me, even tho I really don't want it to happen, but, to me this games seems to suck me in and keeps me playing almost obsessively, but then at some point I'll thought: "That's enough Borderlands. " It's a shame really, since the game is really good.

I'd say overall this is a fantastic game. I'm still going to work on getting all the achievements I can(or bother to, rather), but I'm gonna mark it as finished since all the story-lines are completed. :3

I'll be honest, I only played this game to get easy 100% achievement. But well, it's also a way to force myself to play all the shitty games that I have in my library, so can't really complain about it that much.

As for this game, the concept is actually ok. It's like a board-like game where you control fairies that'll absorb the flowers(the map tile) it was standing on after moving. However, each move you have to wait for the audio cue, there's a painfully long wait time between each action, and sometimes when I click on a fairy it doesn't even register my click. Also, the game could really benefit from a tutorial, since I only know how to play by experimenting and know how each faction(there's 4) works by looking up astats guides. And the icons in main menu are really not explained at all, like the way to turn on/off AI. So yeah, this is a half-ass game that doesn't feel polished, and I got really bored when I tried to get the achievements.

I'll put these two together, since it's practically the same game with small variants. It's, jigsaw puzzle games. Honestly, I was really stoked when I found out that there's jigsaw puzzle games on steam. Doing jigsaw puzzles AND get achievements at the same time? Hell yeah! However, I quickly put these games in the "won't play" category once I found out that it lacks a really important feature(for me): putting pieces together without using the board. I like doing jigsaw puzzles, be it real life or online. I used to use jigidi.com quite a lot, and it is the best jigsaw puzzle site I've ever seen. For me, when I do a jigsaw puzzle, I like to piece out the boarders first. After that, what I like to do is group similar color ones together, and sorta piece them group by group. In the end I try to piece these bigger chunks together. Jigidi supports that, these games doesn't. Also their puzzle pieces should stop floating around! Like, seriously it's making me annoyed when I'm playing the game. Just, make that an optional thing or something, geez.

The reason I played these two game is that one day I just got bored, and was looking at my completionist.me stats since I just discovered that site and realized some jigsaw games are giving me bad completion rates, since I did some optional achievements before throwing those games to "won't play" category. So I thought why not give them another try. I did, and I wasn't wrong about it. Don't really enjoy these games as much as when I'm doing jigsaw puzzles on jigidi. To me they are just, meh, hence the score for me.

I'll say one thing tho: the space one is definitely better than Japan one, since it has the really interesting way of restricting hints. You have rockets scattered on the board and you can either use them to get hints or you can assemble them into a rocket to get an achievement. It's kinda clever, cuz it's optional, so if you think it's too hard you can give the achievement up, but you also get rewarded if you don't use hints. I quite like that. :3

That’s all the games I’ve completed after the last update. Not really that much, but I also started playing 2 more idle games, got back to playing Crypt of the Necrodancer a couple of days ago, and started playing The Binding of Isaac! And still am playing Dead by Daylight, although mostly survivors now since the devs are douches towards killers, and some Overwatch and Payday 2 from time to time. So yeah, still huge backlog, but I’ll try to plow through them slowly. :P

And now I’ve fallen in Scream Collector because of you. Any tips how to spend gems wisely and make quick progress?

Yayee I got someone to play the game. :D
Sorry for the late reply. Currently on a trip in Italy. :P
As with any clicker game, using an auto-clicker surely helps out. Especially in this game that you can get bonuses from clicking to fill the bonus meter, plus you’ll need the bonuses to get the achievement.
And well, for outside the house, I’d say first buy all the spin upgrades and a couple of auto-collect slots, and then save up to about 200 gems(just to be safe) and then you can start doing the infinite spins trick, which is when you see >=4 slots of timewarp/gems/spins(ignoring the bottom golden one) you use 10 spins, otherwise use 1 spin to refresh the wheel. Since you have 200 gems, it’s far worth it to buy 25 spins for 20 gems, and then you can basically just spin and spin and get all the gems to buy other upgrades.
So, in short, buy all the auto-collect slots and all the spin upgrades, and start spinning. :3
