Monthly Update: May 2024
So the month started with me logging 65 hours into Stardew Valley in a new playthrough (my achievement run was a multiplayer save which is gone....), so I can try get my 100% completion back. Once I actually looked into the achievements, and realised I essentially have to do all the achievements again, I may have taken a break and moved on for a bit.. Ahh well, I did make some progress!
I completed V Rising, which I hadn't gotten into previously but with the official release decided to give it a go. I also just managed to 100% Littlewood before the end of the month, so I'd say I did well this month.

Completed & Beaten
I hadn't managed to get into V Rising previously but with the official release decided to give it a go.
It was great! The boss fights were interesting, and some were fairly difficult on brutal, such as Solarus and of course Dracula.. I managed to finally beat Dracula after many, many deaths, some strategic skill switching (shields are pretty much necessary for the last phase) and somehow managing to avoid the AoE at the end and DPS him down quick enough…
I did change the server settings so crafting/gathering was essentially easy mode, while the combat was brutal. Made for less grind and more fun.
I had fun with Littlewood, but going for the 100% at the end was painful. There are a lot of grindy achievements, the worst being fishing 2500 fish, catching 2500 bugs and completing 150 quests.
The mining 6000 nodes and chopping 6000 trees were grindy, but weren't as bad to finish.
If they lowered these achievements and had something like 'Get every house to tier 3', it would still have been a similar amount of time to grind, but a lot more interesting. Ah well!
Played with some friends and managed to view the credits, so tentatively marked as 'Beaten'.
Will likely come back to it when friends want to play :)

SO many hours spent on Stardew. Paused because I needed a break.I got distracted from Fallout 4 by V Rising, and am unsure if keen to go back.
Palia was....very grindy.. Pretty, but seemed like a game I don't want to waste my time on.
Hades seems fun for drop in/drop out style gameplay so will likely play it on and off!
Congratulations on all of your assassinations!! ᓚᘏᗢ
Mmm play Hades more, if you like it get Hades 2, I’m not a fan of the genre so I don’t play but I love the soundtracks!
Hope you enjoy Hi-Fi Rush! I’ve only heard good things, though it’s weird what happened to the studio.
Thanks!
I’m not sure about the genre as well tbh, but I love Greek mythology and the soundtrack is pretty cool!
Hi-Fi Rush has great reviews, so hopefully I enjoy it. I did go to play it on my desktop the other night but it said to use controller (which makes sense haha), so it may be another Steam deck game for me. We’ll see….
