I thought Kingdom Come was overall pretty good - I especially liked the historic setting & the zero-to-kind-of-hero character trajectory. The game is pretty tough in the beginning! On the other hand, the game has several bugs, such as important characters disappearing, and some QOL issues, e.g., limitations on saving and fast travel. I understand that the developers made certain choices to increase players’ sense of investment, but for me it took away some of the enjoyment. Way too many of my 120h in the game were spent riding up and down the same country roads.
Too bad you didn’t much enjoy visiting Paris. It’s got its issues as a place to live for sure, but it usually manages to charm visitors, somehow.
