another puzzle game, another its just to easy for me :/

Now I have to wait for a long time for Vol 5.
but all the girls are extra adorable this volume, and we have a new cutie!

decent little choose your own adventure game, it just wasn't interesting enough for me to go through the chore of 100% completing and unlocking every scene. Managed to get the Hero route on my blind playthrough

Door to Phantomile: the 1st game… overall a disappointment, most of the levels are very easy then suddenly a large difficulty spike nearing the end(didn't try the bonus… it looked like a PITA), bosses are a joke or just annoying.

Lunatea's Veil: much much better than the 1st game, you can tell they saw the issues of the 1st and improved upon them, there were a few annoying aspects to it… but nothing major. Bosses were still way to easy… also game you don't need to tell me how to do everything before I get a chance to figure it out :/

This was better than I thought it was going to be be.
what you see on the store page is definitely what you get.

I have my issues with it(what game do I not?)… fake saves on some things… expecting me to deal with a horde of undead on a location not well suited for it(at least once you fail 3x your offered a skip which auto kills them)… AI snipers have perfect aim and can take out the engine of a motorcycle boosting through the area at max speed totally wrecking the engine, forcing you into combat quests without giving you a chance to change your loadout… but hey the game never crashed, pretty impressive for a AAA game these days.

Overall I had a great time… wish the heavy machine gun was…. just better… a SMG was doing so much more for me in all cases… yes even against a horde of undead… a SMG was beating out a heavy machine gun in clearing them out.

plenty more chapters to go, I own the next 2 atm… hoping the others steadily get to the 50% discount to make them worth buying.

Technically speaking I haven't beaten everything yet… I am at the point of just grinding out the characters that start with evolved weapons and grinding out the last bit of gold… need to figure out how to get the 2nd item when you picked its to easy/hard as well.

But I have done enough to be happy with marking as beaten, might grab some of the DLC when it goes on sale… might not and just play the other games that played with this game formula(I want to pick up deep rock survivors… its sooo tempting)
