Nice one with finishing two games already! I’ve been wanting to play Aviary Attorney for a long time. I like this post format, might have to steal it for myself :p

Suit yourself, I also took it from someone here a few years ago :D
Aviary Attorney was a really charming one, it’s basically Ace Attorney with better graphics (IMO) and funnier dialogues.
I just may have been a little disappointed by the endings storywise, it was not as engaging as some Phoenix Wright cases can be.
How did you beat a game in February already?! :v
Convenient timezone, or just happened to finish the game on 1st hours of 1st day of the month? 🤔
Yeah I happened to see the credits of Darkside Detective just past midnight (for me) yesterday.
I still have a few optional cases to deal with, so I’ll count it for February.
Was a little disappointed by this one.
The first one was self-contained, and investigations always feel the right length - not too long, not too short, just right.
The second one was full of references to characters from the first episode (that I did play two years ago, so …), and some puzzle moon logic that was missing from the original. Having to try every one of your items on each interactive pixel on the screen ‘s never a good thing.
Ayy, sorry to hear that. On one hand, a lot of game series demand some knowledge of previous games to understand certain things, but somehow, not a lot of them bother to do some intro to make you recall things if you played previous game too long ago to remember half the details.
It’s even worse if you don’t want to play the same game over and over, and simply take a break from certain series/genre for a while.
