Main Quest #22 - 08 February 2019
Got it in a sale like 2 years ago for 2,5€ and finally played it in glorious full HD (I could play it in my laptop but only in low/med 30fps. feels good to be able to play in high fixed 60 fps now). Great gameplay, I literally feel satisfied while playing this game but after 20 hours I kinda got tired of it so I couldn’t make myself play through the DLCs (Lord of the Hunt and Bright Lord). One to return to, if I ever feel like to.
Note: We are just 6 weeks into 2019 and I’ve already played more hours than in the entire year of 2018. This is the consequence of two things: 1) I barely played anything in 2018 since I spent most of my free time outside of my house playing Pokemon GO or without my laptop (repair), and 2) buying a gaming desktop really helped me having fun playing games since they run so much better and smoother and “look” way better (I now play in a 21,5” IPS 1080p monitor instead of a 15,6” TN 720p) and it just feels so good. Plus, half of these 6 weeks I was/am in holidays between semesters so yeah :P
Man I hear you about the laptop vs desktop thing. I got rid of my last desktop & desk for space reasons and got a laptop to use anywhere. I don’t really regret it because there were larger reasons why it had to be this way, however gaming is not quite the same on a smaller unit. On the plus side though, it IS nice to take my Steam library with me on planes and trips. But one day when/if I have the room to set up a battlestation again I am totally doing it. :P
Hopefully, that day will be sooner than later!
