February 2018 Progress
Introduction
Hello there! I’ve been on this site since October 2016, but I never wrote a single post so far, and I never introduced myself properly, so… uh… hello! I’ve participated in some monthly themes and Challenge Me!’s, but other than that, I wasn’t very active. I aim to post one update every month now. Also, I’ve been working on a colored bar generator. It works, but the interface still needs some serious CSS treatment to look good. Feel free to use it! So, let’s begin with the first update!
Completed/beaten games
LIMBO
8.1 hours of playtime, 13 of 13 achievements
Challenge Me! Feb-Mar
LIMBO… I’ve touched it once in July 2014 and I haven’t touched it again until this month. To be honest, I have no idea why, as I liked this game when I played it this month. I’ve enjoyed the puzzles, some made me think while some were a bit too hard and I had to look up a walkthrough to get a hint on what am I supposed to do next. Achievements were mostly easy, with exception for the “complete the game in one sitting, dying 5 or less times” achievement. I’ve made around 8 attempts to get this achievement, and on the last attempt I pulled off a no deaths run! Very good game, it’s short too, so it’s a good pick if you’re low on time and you’re looking for some quick assassinations.
Poker Night at the Inventory
16.1 hours of playtime, 18 of 20 achievements
This, well, uh… it’s a normal poker game. Except that you play with a crazy rabbit who is a vigilante private investigator, a masked wrestler and prankster who calls everyone at the table a cheater, a huge Russian man who has a minigun for his girlfriend and a Ph.D in Russian literature and a bitter and sarcastic tabletop RPG player. That’s when you know that things are going to get crazy. Well, what else can I say? It’s normal poker, but with characters that talk with each other, taunt each other and get angry if they lose. Nice game, but if you’re going to play it, you’ll probably want to stay away from the Russian man. I still have 2 achievements to complete (one of which is entirely luck-based, which is very annoying), and I aim to get both of them in March.
Unfinished games with progress
Poker Night 2
16.1 hours of playtime, 15 of 18 achievements
It’s the sequel to the poker game… except that now you play with a hot-headed bodyguard for some crazy science guy I have no idea about, an annoying robot that comes from a planet where EVERYONE has a gun, a guy with a robotic arm that has to fight off things called “deadites” and an anthropomorphic dog dressed in a suit and fedora, whose partner is the crazy rabbit from the first game. If that weren’t enough, the dealer is yet another robot who loves to be sarcastic. And just like the last game, things get really silly and crazy. If you love the first game, play this one as well. I still have 3 achievements to 100% this game, and still need to claim 2 more bounties to “beat” the game.
South Park: The Stick of Truth
9.5 hours of playtime, 21 of 50 achievements
Challenge Me! Feb-Mar, SteamGifts win
I’ve never watched South Park before, and I don’t know much about it, but if the TV show has the same type and amounts of humour like the game, then I would really like to watch it. The battle system reminds me of Paper Mario, which I really loved, so this is a huge plus for me. There’s plenty of side quests and collectibles, which made me go around and explore while ignoring the main story. Unfortunately a lot of those collectibles (and achievements) are missable, which may prevent you from getting a few achievements. I love this game, but I hate that, compared to other games, it really heats up my laptop, which makes the fans spin faster and louder. 29 achievements to go, and I’ve already missed a couple, so I’ll have to do a second playthrough of this game.
The Oil Blue
11.7 hours of playtime, 28 of 31 achievements
A game made by the same dev who made Cook, Serve, Delicious!. It’s a time management game about drilling oil from islands. Gameplay is quite repetitive since you unlock all 4 types of available machinery quite early in the game. But if you like this game, then you probably won’t mind the repetitiveness. Game is pretty decent, but unfortunately the dev can’t make any changes to the game anymore since the source code was corrupted. I’m currently at rank 4 (rank 1 is the final rank in the game), and I need only 3 achievements to reach 100% (all 3 of them are unlocked by reclaiming more islands, which happens as you play more).
Transistor
5.6 hours of playtime, 3 of 33 achievements
Challenge Me! Feb-Mar
Bought this on a sale a long time ago, played for a hour and two, and haven’t touched it again until now. This game looks and sounds gorgeous, and you’re allowed to experiment and make your own attack moves by using up to 3 modules for each move. I’m still very early in the game, and I don’t have much to say about it yet, but I like it. I’m currently at 3 achievements out of 33, so there’s a lot of work to do for this one.

Hi! We look forward to your updates! Nice job on your progress. I personally really enjoyed Oneshot. It’s unique and memoriable. Also the Poker Night games are actually how I learned to play Poker xD
Haha, same here! Came to Poker Night for the TF2 items, stayed to listen to all the banter between the characters, and learned how to play poker while at it! Poker Night 1’s achievements are a big pain though, but I’m glad I’m done with them! As for OneShot, it was definitely one of the most unique experiences I’ve ever had. I loved how the game was very creative with all the fourth wall breaks.
